"From the start rude welcoming, gave us wrong directions to the room which we had to take a 3 flight up the stairs because of the elevators were not working. The room key did not work, had to go back to the lobby. After finally inside the room strong nasty smell on the sheets and pillows, broken toilet seat. Door would not close from the outside either. No good response from the front desk on trying to solve any of my complaints after expending over $400 per night. Me DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! "

"Room is very clean and fancy. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. But air condition is a little bit cold and can’t be turned off or change temperature. Overall it’s great!! I would recommend it to my friends."

"Breakfast good asf!!!!!! Staff so friendly and helpful. I didn't go up to the bar but my mom really loved it. My room was clean only thing I dislike was the shower. It's only half of shower door lol I didn't know it was built like that "

"The lobby is beautiful and the pool and the pool staff are wonderful. That’s where it ends. The room was fine. We went onto the balcony and the sliding door got stuck open. Tried to eat at the Playa beach bar and grill, sat for 25 min missing a menu and no water or waiter to be found. Finally got a waitress, asked do water and an appetizer. Never got the water and the appetizer came overcooked and burned. Tried to eat the appetizer, waited for another 15 min, still no water or service. We decided to leave $20 on the table for our appetizer and walked out and door dashed dinner. We were only there for one night, so there was no room for the hotel or at staff to redeem themselves. Super unfortunate, I would definitely not go back or recommended to anyone. "

"The good: The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was mediocre but we expected that from the photos. We arrived several hours before check-in and as we were just staying to catch an early morning flight the next day, didn’t have other plans. They let us use the pool and stored our luggage until check-in. The bad: It is close to the airport and the planes landing are very loud. There is also lots of noise from the road and other rooms. Could have been timing (Spring Break) but other residents had people in and out all night partying and we had several knocks on both the door and window throughout the night. They did not have additional pillows, the mattress felt worn in and past its lifespan, and luggage storage is in an unsecured snack/toiletry store off the reception area. We nicked named it the “La Can’t Sleep.” Consider this a motel when comparing accommodations. Overall in my top 3 worst nights stay at a hotel."
