Very disappointed with the stay. (Expedia needs to work better explaining the hotels microcharges for everything.) The onsite parking costs 48 bucks per day, to use the pools chairs or beach chares, you have to pay 20-25 bucks.
Reception desk was a mess, Checked into a room at 1AM as our plane arrived late, our room did not have a working phone, Bed sheets were damp and completely stained. We ended up being moved into a different room from the 7th floor to the 5th floor.
Our second room, the bathroom fan did not work but we gave up and lived with it. Then we were running out of towels to dry ourselves after a shower so we requested more and the reception desk looked at us like we were a total inconvenience to them. After bothering the staff about if the second day since no one came up, we finally got clean towels.
When we did want our car to travel and site see Florida, we had to find the valet early in the morning as they were watching shows on their phones rather than be up front helping guest. Once we found them, we had to wait about 15-20 min before they pulled up with our car.
Overall- we would have enjoyed our time in Miami without staying at a hotel that was off the beach and more inland and taking an uber to the beach, but we wanted to spoil ourselves.
