Ideal location in the Deco district. Easy walk to park and beach area with bike and pedestrian paths. Room with separate kitchen/dining area and outside small patio area with table and chairs. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and linens. No staff on premises, easily accessible by phone/text. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if I come back to Miami.

Great stay at the Donovan Hotel. Super convenient location, clean rooms, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Everything felt easy and comfortable - I’d definitely come back.

Let me say the property itself has potential and you can tell where some updates have been done. It’s quite cute for couples to get away. But it needs some more updates; numbers on the locks needs to be updated making it hard to see at times, especially at night time . There is a smell of mold or something maybe oldness that has been closed tight. Some of the pavers on the walkway needs to be repaired. Also there is no person available on the property if you need assistance but someone on the internet is available and if I may say they will stay in touch with you if needed.

Room was clean. It was a basic room. Just one set of towels. I asked clean towels and I was told that I need to wash my towels. We had difficult time getting into our room on Thursday April 2nd. They sent us instructions around 2pm by Expedia app. The code we received did not work and I ended up going to the other hotel overnight because there was no actual person helping me. We arrived to the property around 11pm that night. Make sure you will arrive earlier so you are able to reach out the management team. I was not only one having difficulties with the door. The location is excellent. The free trolley stop right in front of the building. That was great.
