Family Retreat-Beachwalk-Grill-AC-Free WiFi-Pool Table-Bikes-Grill-Golf Cart

The perfect fairy tale home at the Beachwalk. Completed in May 2017, Valhalla sleeps up to 11 with 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. You can unwind after a day at the beach in the sports-themed basement that features a wet bar and pool table amidst sports memorabilia or entertain in the Viking-themed main floor. Enjoy an evening around the fire in the shared fire pit. Stocked with games, books, and movies, the entire family will be entertained in this new gem in Lake Michigan's premier vacation resort. For larger parties, you can rent along with the adjoining Troll's Den, which sleeps 6. A golf cart is available. Come check out this beautiful and unique property!

From the Friday before Memorial Day through mid-August there is a 4-night minimum and all guests must purchase resort passes, which cost $15 per person. There is a $5 parking cost per car.

Cleanliness has always been a top priority for our company. Our cleaning and infection control processes were put in place so that when you visit our homes at the Beachwalk, it's both safe and comfortable.

All cleaning fees are baked into the nightly rate.

Please note that we maintain a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

We will continue remote check-in/check-out procedures, but as always will be available to take your calls, answer any questions, and provide the overall great service you have come to expect. Early check-ins or late check-outs will be allowed when possible and will be charged at the hourly average of the nightly rate.

Great place to stay! We were in town with our adult children and significant others for a wedding (8 adults). Plenty of space for all of us. Lots to do in the area The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Perfect weekend getaway

Spacious yet cozy, beautiful home that was clean, inviting, and nicely decorated, located in the Beachwalk community. Ours was an off-season stay, very affordable, quiet, and just lovely. There are four bedrooms and baths, a game room with pool table with which we had a lot of fun. The large kitchen table is a great place to gather, play games, and reminisce. We enjoyed the home very much, and highly recommend it.

Wedding Weekend Stay

This house was the perfect location for our bridal party, especially loved the bridal suite which is large enough for numerous people, including makeup artist and hair stylist. Tge basement is such a bonus, and the screened in porch is just lovely. Thank you for the great stay!

Christmas celebration

We recently stayed at the Valhalla! The home was exactly has described and was even decorated for Christmas! Any questions we had were promptly answered by Anders. Cozy fireplace and plenty of games for us to use along with a pool table in the basement. We are hoping to visit another time!

My son was married at the botanic gardens in Michigan City, the house was centrally located for all our activities. All the bathrooms were a god send!😁 Beautiful home love the decor and the kitchen was well stocked.

Cozy Resort Home by the Beach

We enjoyed our location. We could walk to the Beach, pool, small park. There were many things to do included in our rental…corn hole (which we played!) bikes, golf cart. Anders and Joolz were fine hosts. We all agreed that we would love to come back. We had plenty of space to cook, watch football games on Sunday and just chill and catch up.

Family Vacation

Last year we stayed in the small house and this year we stayed in the big house given 2 more kids. Great house with kids. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Baby gates do come in handy with an upstairs and downstairs. We really enjoyed having a golf cart this year. Great hosts and great community. Already booked for next year!

A great Thanksgiving Venue

The home and surroundings were fine. The hosts were helpful and attentive. It was cold so the porches and outdoor areas were not used. The bedrooms and bathrooms were ample and interesting. We could have used a little larger area for dining but it worked out well. A fabulous opportunity for a family holiday. Thank you.Ample supplies and small touches. Our guests were so happy!

Friends Vacation

Rented both Valhalla and Trolls Den for a long weekend with friends. Combined there were 17 of us, 10 adults and 7 kids. The combined space between the houses was excellent for hanging out. Both houses looked exactly as listed and the host was right there if anything was needed. Communication was easy and there was plenty of extras (blankets, pillows, wagons, beach toys). Community was gorgeous and easy to get around. Would stay again!

Fun Girl's Weekend!

My mom, who is 91, along with my two neices and their mother, take an annual girl's trip. We rypically get a hotel, but this year we changed it up for a beachy vibe. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. The neighborhood of mostly vacation rentals was quiet and low key. The property manager was super responsive to our needs and friendly. The golf cart was a big hit! It was such fun driving around the little neighborhood and to the beach. We really enjoyed our time at the Vahalla.

Great stay

Fantastic space for a family getaway. All the bedrooms are good, with privacy and bathrooms nearby--we slept 8 adults and a toddler no problem. Lots of toys and games for little kids, plus bikes and scooters to get around the area. Had a great time just sitting on the large porch and driveway. Good kitchen. Nice outdoor space, including a fire pit. Great to walk down to the local beach or drive to the Dunes park. The resort has convenient amenities. Plus, Anders is a super communicative, clear, respectful, and friendly host. Everything went really smoothly with check in, questions, and check out. Such a great spot, and good value for the area too!

Super spot to enjoy Michigan City

We had a wonderful stay at Valhalla! The house is not large, but there is plenty of room for 6-8 folks. The house was very clean and had coffee already in the cupboard! Not always true. Though there are houses very close to this one, it is very quiet. Every house around us was occupied and yet we were able to get our kids to sleep by 8:30 pm and the area was quiet. We were unable to take time to enjoy the resort, but we sure will next time. Seems like a perfect vacation spot.

Great weekend getaway!

Anders and his properties are everything you could hope for in a vacation rental. They are well kept, clean, and inviting. We rented both Valhalla and East of the sun for the weekend with a large number of guests and the houses could not have worked out more perfect. There is so much to do in the little resort and every need is met from bicycles, rackets, balls, inside games. . .and our personal favorites the karaoke stage(GREAT Sound) and the pool tables in each house. Anders was wonderful at checking in and replying to anything we came back with, I cant give 10 stars . . .but I would - highly recommend!
