Staff in general were polite and friendly. All in all was perfect, my Father and myself do enjoy our stay a lot. Will definitely stay here on our upcoming visits to Cairo. "The best and safe location in Cairo. When in Cairo, hotel location is a must. The hotel is very conveniently located, across the old Egyptian Museum. This is where you need to be if it's your first time. Turn left as you get out the hotel and that will take you everything you need from dining, shopping, souvenirs. One piece of advise, do not engage a conversation when someone approach you in the corner or alone the shopping lanes. Otherwise, Steingenberger has the best service, front desk, room, dining staff and even the sales staff in the mini shop. Enjoy!"

"Hotel was wonderful . It has a beautiful cultural touch with a museum on ground floor and rooms above. Lift is available . delicious breakfast and dinner is served in a comfy kitchen/ dining area. Miss maryam is a wonderful host. The hotel is located in interior Cairo with wonderful locations like khan Khalili , Moez street , hussain mosque and old cultural architecture just a step away. Only drawback is narrow streets in which in busy hours one might find difficult to reach hotel entrance by car . You may have to walk 1-2 min to reach it . With heavy luggage and family sometime it can be cumbersome but the load bearers are available that carry your luggage on wheel barrow to the hotel . On Early morning , late night hours or weekends with empty streets this can be no issue."
