Princess Bayside Beach Hotel

"I stayed here with my family for one night and had a wonderful experience. The front desk Barbara, was extremely helpful and very kind. We were even able to check in early, which made our stay much more comfortable. The location is perfect. Everything was convenient and within walking distance. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay."

"Staff was great and kind. Always there when we needed anything.Older hotel so needs some updating but clean. Microwave in our room needs to be replaced. And the tub needs grippers on the bottom, it seemed very slippery. Phone did not work so just used my cell to call the front desk."

"The pictures surely make it look better. The best thing about the place was the location. 1 property from the beginning of the boardwalk. Upon arriving the sign told us to go to a different hotel to check in. Not far but inconvenient. The Pool was closed for service, I am guessing for maintenance for the upcoming season but that was never told to us. We were told we can use the pool at the other hotel, again not convenient. Our 3rd floor room was close to the picture shown. Definitely showing signs of wear but did have a good ocean view. The windows had blinds instead of curtains/drapes which looked modern but caused an issue with a bright light right outside the window/door area. Our room all evening was illuminated through the white blinds. After 2 requests staff came and hung curtains....not very attractive but worked with the lighting. Security was an issue for me.....an average door knob with a house type lock and a security chain for added security. We finished our vacation but would not plan on returning to this motel."

"My young family’s stay was a nightmare, culminating in a violent crime and police intervention. My wife and I contacted the front desk five times to report a loud violent disturbance in the room directly above us while my wife and toddlers were trying to sleep. The staff failed to remedy the situation and things escalated. I called 911 twice. Police arrived and arrested someone for assault, EMS tended to someone also. Without my intervention, no help would have arrived. Additionally, the room maintenance was poor; I stepped on a shard of glass that needed to be removed. Thankfully my toddlers little feet didn’t find that first. At checkout, I gave them the chance to make things right. Management told me they couldn't do anything but that I should email the property owner. I called and emailed multiple times but received no response. Despite a violent assault and police presence, the owner is still ignoring the situation. This hotel is a massive liability. If you value your safety or sleep, avoid staying here. We would have preferred to sleep in our vehicle if it had been safe to leave the room."
