This lovely 3 bedroom apartment is located in the beach side complex of Parque Playa, set in the wonderful town of La Cala de Mijas. The property is close to all the amenities of the town and only 200m from the sandy beach. The apartment sits in between a selection of shops, bars and restaurants and is directly opposite the communal park. Here you will find the impeccably kept gardens, children's play area, outdoor gym and boules courts. The complex offers access to a communal swimming pool. The apartment benefits from free WIFI and vented air conditioning throughout.

This penthouse apartment is located on the third floor, with access by lift and is arranged over one floor. The open plan living space is furnished with a dining area, seating up to six people and a lounge area that offers two sofas and a 50¨smart TV. The separate kitchen is fully equipped. Find access to the south facing terrace from the lounge, which offers views to the pool and is furnished with a lounge seating area.

La Cala de Mijas, centrally located on the Costa del Sol coastline, is a small jewel of a town situated between Marbella to the west and Fuengirola to the east. La Cala is a town with a wonderful village atmosphere and attitude. The central high street has small, narrow roads branching off it, taking you to the many boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants until you can go no further as you have reached the main square and the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The coastline of La Cala offers both long stretches of clean, sandy beaches, where you can take a leisurely stroll west on the boardwalk all the way to Riviera del Sol, and interesting craggy parts to the east to explore and watch the many kite surfing enthusiasts filling the sky with the colourful canopies.

By day, La Cala bustles with tourists and locals alike and is always a hive of activity of people going about their daily business or heading to the beach for a lunch with a view at one of the beach restaurants. Beachside La Cala offers a large childrens play area and the main square where all the fiestas and outdoor summer festivities are held and is dominated by the 16th Century watch tower “El Torreon”.

Inland La Cala is for the golfer and lovers of the outdoors. Here you can find plenty of high quality golf courses to play a round or two on and the wonderful, natural countryside to spend the day discovering by foot, mountain bike or horseback. Whether you are here just for a holiday or moving to the Costa del Sol to live, La Cala de Mijas is a well-established, sought-after location that will stay in the heart of anyone who visits it.
