Good location but poor facilities at this hostel
Location is very good but there is no kitchen and internet also! They let me stay in a different building, not the main öne to where there is the reception.

Decent, room for improvements
The location was good. Not far from the central train station. Check-in is a little tricky. The hostel sign is easy to miss and you're likely end up at a wrong address. Then you need to be buzzed in, which only happened for us after several attempts. Internet in the rooms was terrible, slightly better in common areas.

Avoid this place.
Absolutely terrible. I booked my hotel at around 9 pm and I get there an hour or two later from a long day of travel by train. It’s raining outside, and the gate is locked to get in, I try calling and they don’t answer. I try to have Hotels call them and they say they can’t get ahold of them. I ask for the money back since I physically can’t get in my room, and they say that this place denied my request for my money back. Keep in mind this is all happening while it’s raining and I’m trying to get inside, in the middle of the night in a foreign city. So I then have to take a 20 € Uber to another hotel I had to book for another 50€. This place is the worst, avoid at all costs, they have no integrity.

The Central Hostel Milano is run by some very kind and helpful people, and is situated very conveniently for acces to travel connections and the principle tourist sites of the city.

Pretty basic property and room. Great location as it’s closed to Milano central station but that’s all that’s really going for it. Rooms do not look like the photo. Other guests were pretty loud even into the late hours of the night and doesn’t seem to be any rules around that. Great if you need somewhere to crash for the night but wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Our room was infested with bed bugs, literally all over the bed, they changed us for a different room and later in the morning while we inspected again we found 2 more bedbugs. This place should be closed as it seems the whole building is infested. We stayed in the third level and again in the 4th level. Both rooms had the same issue. Also the hostel refused to refund is the money when they said they would personally. This is very unprofessional.

It’s a simple room, no AC so it’s hot. The kitchen only has the fridge to use and not the stove at all. Some long term guests stayed here and basically you get what you pay for.

Entrance hasn’t looked about the Hotel. Reception guy was impolite . He suddenly ask me 「Are you pregnant ? 」I’m not. Then he said “wait a moment “ I waited him at the entrance after 10mini . It’s nothing moment. Also he didn’t say “Sorry for waiting “or “Thank you” After that, he try to cut in line another customer. I complained to him. He has obviously impolitely parson .

5 star hostel
The hostel was super clean, great variety of breakfast options, and the rooms were really safe. Personally, I would come back and stay since it is a good deal and the location is also great!

I loved Milan and one of the Main reasons was because of the friendly staff at the hostel. They made it seem like I was at home because they were so friendly and willing to help me out. Come to Milan and stay here!

Awesome service
Central Hostel Milano is the place to stay! The customer service is incredible, friendly, and willing to go out of their way to help! If I come back to Milan I would stay here because of the nice staff and great location. People are also really nice and friendly at the hostel, enjoyed my stay in Milan.

People I recommend you not to book this Fraud property at all especially if you are planning a late check-in after 6 pm. In their policies they say late check-in can be requested but the truth is once you make the payment they are not willing to pay heed to your requests and they don't bother if you are able to check-in at their property or not. And most importantly, do not expect a refund at all since they will deny Expedia's request just because it against their policy and they like to have free money without providing any service. Worst experience of booking hotel on Expedia and at Central Hostel Milano. Please book better properties even if you have to shell out few more dollars. Much better than paying money to thieves.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL. We requested a late check in when we booked and got confirmation that we didn't need to do anything further. As we were going to be arriving at 1am I sent 3 emails via expedia asking for arrival instructions and received no reply. I tried to phone on numours occasions the day before and after finally getting through to them while sitting in the airport departures they informed us that as they could not do a late check in they had cancelled our booking. They said that they informed expedia that they had done this but neither the hostel or expedia contacted us which would have meant that we would have turned up to a closed hostel at 1am with a tired 6 year old. I am still in the process of trying to get a refund but both the hostel and expedia are refusing this. Im not someone who usually leaves reviews but this absolutely ruined our weekend.

The receptionist was nice but the room we got was terrible. People who stayed before us smoked at every corner of the room. Even after doing everything we can to eliminate it it was still there. In short we inhaled it during our whole stay

Hostel from hell!
While in Milan, my plans changed, so I booked a room at this hostel for the night around 10:30 PM. But it turns out that check in finishes at 10 PM. That didn't stop them from taking my money and confirming the booking after check in closed! I got there not long after and kept buzzing but no answer, so I thought the buzzer was broken. I then called the number on the hostel's page on Expedia, and the person who answered said there is no one on site, so I can't check in and I should leave. What kind of hostel doesn't have staff on site? The name makes it sound grand, but ita a hostel from hell!

The hotel was quite hard to find but eventually after walking round a few times, one of the staff saw me and checked me in. Their is a nice common area with a balcony a small kitchen and free wifi, the only problem was the air conditioning wasn't very good so it was really hot in the rooms and the bed was very uncomfortable.

We made a reservation online, barely found the place as streets are not identified and our USA phones won't work in Italy (Sprint also lied to me that mine was unlocked so I can't use with a SIM card-poses a huge challenge so test your phone before you leave the states!). We barely got someone to come to the door/gate. There was another group of 3 people(2 men and 1 woman) there before us so we let them go ahead of us, they did not have a reservation and were asking for a room. They were shown a room with a twin bed and they took it. They spoke Italian. We figured our room must be being held for us as we reserved. NOPE, the older man said bye and left. The younger man asked for my passport as if to check us in, called me into the office and had me take a seat then told me there was no room for us and that the reservation was made after 6pm when their office is closed. Ridiculous. 2 ladies were put out in the night to find another accommodation. There weren't any in that area, we went to about 5 hotels before we could find something. As we were leaving/escorted out, there were more people who arrived at the door and said they had made reservations too.
