I had rented this unit because I was traveling alone for a work conference and wanted to be within walking distance to Allianz Mico convention center. Communication with the host was easy and flawless. The unit was a nice and easy walk to the convention center with a few cafes on the way for a morning cappuccino and pastry. The size of the unit was perfect for me (and would also work well for a couple). The bed, made of dense memory foam, was just okay for my preferences as I typically prefer a pillow top mattress. Air conditioning units worked perfect and really helped provide relief from the 97 degree heat in June. Both the kitchen ans the bathroom were very spacious, except if I spent any more time at the unit I would have had no toilet paper remaining! Can not comment on kitchen appliances or cookware as I did not use any, but the kitchen was well stocked with wine glasses, utensils, etc. I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the kitchen because it looked like the cabinets were splatted and there were hard water stains about. I ended up wiping down the cabinets prior to my departure so it did not become an issue for me. The home was quant, had great character and felt reflective of the true history of Milan. I am very happy I chose this unit over a hotel, except for the 2 out of 5 nights I was awoken by a blaring alarm outside from an undetermined source.
