"It was a nice and clean place. Only issue I had was the bathroom showers were too small for me. I’m 6’5 and 300. It was too tight and uncomfortable for me. Other than that I had a good stay."

"Overall, our stay was satisfactory. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of choices, but the main restaurant’s menu was limited. I also found the air fresheners in the corridors too strong and unpleasant. Our biggest disappointment was the staff’s attitude. While the reception staff were polite, the restaurant staff and others throughout the resort were neither friendly nor welcoming. Guests are there to relax and enjoy their vacation, and a warm smile and pleasant attitude make all the difference. Unfortunately, genuine hospitality was lacking."

"Family run hotel - so helpful and friendly which really made our holiday special. Never been on first name terms with hotel staff before ! But special mention to Martina, Aurelio, Fabio and Katrina 😀 (& Kevin on the Marlove boat) Hotel very peaceful as out of town. We walked into Tropea old town - it takes about 40 mins safely in daylight but can organise the hotel minibus pick up easily in the morning for evening return. We liked our room (no 9) with sea views and spacious although could have done with some drawers so we could properly unpack. Hotel restaurant great food and busy. Pool bar menu limited in day but freshly made. Pool not massive but also not busy at all in October, so plenty of sunbeds. Worth going to local beach Riaci - long steep walk so pay for the hotel minibus to take you there and back !"

"This is a great place with amazing views from breakfast and lunch area. great access to beach. Over all all the staff was really really helpful and our stay was wonderful. On Hotel.com website the address takes you to next street. so please correct that."

"We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has many great facilities, especially the spa and gym, which were a real bonus. Our child absolutely loved the nursery, and there was a great selection of activities to keep them entertained. The lunch and dinner buffets were very good, with plenty of choice. However, after a longer stay, we felt the menus became quite repetitive. It would be nice to see a little more variety throughout the week, both at breakfast and during lunch and dinner. One suggestion would be to serve breakfast until 10:30am. On several mornings, food started being cleared away before 10:00am, which felt a little rushed. As the hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere, it would be nice if breakfast service reflected that and remained fully available until the advertised finishing time. Our room wasn’t one of the newer refurbished rooms, as none were available to book, which was understandable. However, the shower was a real disappointment. The water temperature constantly changed from freezing cold to boiling hot without anyone touching the controls, making it very difficult to shower comfortably, especially with a child. We reported this and requested that a plumber look at it. Although we were told someone had attended, unfortunately nothing seemed to have changed and the problem continued for the rest of our stay. "I review hotels so hard for me to turn my work head off However if I were writing up Village Eden. I would say a wonderful paradise for all travellers. Great for couples & families. I has an apartment in the annex up the hill and it was perfect. The hotel itself if lovely. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff is super sweet and welcoming. Always ensuring that we had everything we needed. Getting from the annex up on the hill to beach side hotel was a breeze. Golf carts pick you up on request quickly. Never waited more than 3 minutes before the golf cart pick up arrived and that’s available until midnight which is great if you’re having late drinks at the hotel restaurant which was so so fantastic The cocktails were superb.perfect Service &Food so very delicious. Wonderful chef and selection for every type of diet.The private beach is beautiful and each room has alotted beach loungers guaranteed. The pool was awesome if sand isn’t your thing. So glad I chose Village Eden for my personal holiday in Capo Vaticano. I would suggest car hire to get around the area and an afternoon visit to Tropea. Te horse offers a parking space for each room. I LOVE THIS PLACE."
