"We loved our family trip to This Place Rocks! It was everything we hoped for! We met for a little family reunion and the cousins from CA wanted to see Lake Erie and fish for walleye. The house is beautiful and so comfortable and the fire on the rocks overlooking a Lake Erie sunset was amazing! The guys got their limit of walleye in just a few hours on their charter! Janelle was so very kind and helpful for anything we needed! What a great Host! Thank you for an amazing place to make memories! The candy was so great, too! I got more to bring home ;) See you next time!"

"Cedric was most helpful, kind, professional in changing our stay for one more night in same room 626 which has an awesome view of the Bayfront--The pool and whirlpool were so very clean and nice--the coffee and pumpkin cream cheese muffin were VERY good as well as the smiling young lady that served it--we will be back in July2027 its on our wish list all ready. I do not know why our neighbors travel so far to Ocean City MD or Myrtle Beach SC when (ESP if you have a pet you don't want to leave behind) when Erie has EVERYTHING and is UNIQUE with the beauty of Presque Isle. TY!"

The thing that caught my attention that most in a negative way was the filthy windows ( they were so dirty that really could no see the view of the bay ) also we ate at Oliver’s and the windows were covered with spiders and webs, it ruined my appetite IT WAS SO GROSS. I can’t believe that they would not have a higher standard. I would not stay at this hotel again!"

"My friends and family spent the weekend here for my Bachelorette party. The house is absolutely beautiful and had every thing we needed. Julie was so nice and easy to communicate with. She was on-site the first night and had another property manager there the second night incase we needed anything. (There is a small cottage off the back of the house where they stayed and you can lock them out of the house basically) Please remember she just bought the house this year (2026) so not everything is not perfect as she is still fixing things. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk most places but still far enough from the noise of the night life.We have already talked about possibly having a girls weekend every year and booking this house again!! Thank you Julie for an amazing stay!!"
