"This cabin is truly lovely & has everything it could take to be a 5-star stay. The beds were very comfortable, the setting is beautiful, & the Wi-Fi was good enough for remote work. The location is excellent for enjoying Red River Gorge activities.We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings & relaxing in the backyard & hot tub in the evenings. It was very peaceful, & deer were frequent visitors, which was a real treat.There were a few details, however, that kept the stay from feeling like a true 5-star experience. We were somewhat surprised by the amount of early-morning road noise when sitting outside. Since Cliffview Resort is near the intersection of 715 and 11, I suspect that is the source.The cabin appeared clean overall, but the bathroom sink had a large glob of bright bluish-green residue that appeared to be toothpaste gel. Finding that made me wonder about the thoroughness of cleaning in the bathroom, particularly the shower. A small maintenance detail also needed attention: one of the two Adirondack chairs by the firepit had a missing slat with exposed nails.Although the cabin is described as a luxury cabin, the washcloths were extremely thin & felt more like car-cleaning cloths. Also, bring a can opener, as there wasn't one available.Overall, this is a beautiful & comfortable cabin in a wonderful location. With a little more attention to cleaning, maintenance & the small amenities, it really could be a 5-star property."

It was a perfect place to celebrate our birthdays!!! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Red River Gorge area!
