"The property is pet friendly and home was clean and neat. The host was very receptive if you have any questions or concerns. A few things that could be improved is the pillows on the beds. They were very thin and flat. And their wasn't enough hot water for 6 people. Tried to use the soaking tub but wasn't enough hot water to even fill 1/4 of the tub. But the property was lovely, very quiet and wonderful to see deer and bunnies. We would definitely stay there again."

"Absolutely beautiful cabin in a very gorgeous area with a perfect lake setting. Quiet and peaceful and the turtles and fish below the deck was a great plus especially with the food left out for them. Great set up inside and good amenities outside such as the eating table, grill and swing."

"This property is quiet and conveniently located close to slade and all of our favorite places in red river. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed fires outside and watching the deer wandering through. Everyone enjoyed the cattle next door and visiting the donkey across the street. Our hosts were very helpful with their check in and check out procedures. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends!"

"The cabin and surrounding grounds are exactly as described. While it's off-grid, it's still really nice. Yes, it's in the woods so there might be bugs or leaf debris. Yes, it's an outhouse, so it will smell like an outhouse, but that is all part of being in the great outdoors. There are cute solar-powered lights inside and out. There's a very nice propane stove outside, a great picnic table, amazing fire pit, creek that swirls around the property, and lots of land for tromping around. It really provided a wonderful escape and is excellent for just a couple of people or a group. There's plenty of space to find your own time and space if you were staying there with a group. The whole place just makes you want to spend time in nature, and that is the whole reason for going, right?! The maintenance folks were also very responsive when I arrived late and brain dead and had trouble opening the gate!"
