"Beautiful large lot and nice cabin. Clean, good communication and messages. Wonderful cliff/cave views. Privy was clean and was cleaned while we were there. Great location! The potable water unit provided very hot and cold water for dushes and washing up. Nice creek right there but water very low on our visit. Wonderful firepit area and we used it two of three nights! If enjoy primitive camping but need a confortable bed and central location this us the spot. Canin was well stocked."

"Cabin was large and clean. Probably should bring your own cooking supplies..ie pots and knives. There is a sulfur smell from the well water but that shouldn’t discourage anyone from having a great time. Also an awd vehicle helps."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Crooked Cabin! If you're looking to truly disconnect, this is the ultimate romantic woodland escape. The cabin itself feels straight out of a fairytale, with its unique crooked windows, handmade details, and secluded 25 private wooded acres.Spending our evenings soaking under the stars in the private wood-fired hot tub and relaxing by the fire was exactly the recharge we needed before heading back to reality. It's close enough to enjoy everything the Red River Gorge area has to offer, yet secluded enough that you feel completely tucked away in your own private world.Dennis was a fantastic host — hospitable, attentive, and clearly thought of everything. We loved the charming storybook details woven throughout the property. Highly recommend to anyone needing a peaceful, unique getaway!"

"Amazing cabin in a beautiful serene setting. Cabin is custom built with unique detail. We were disappointed with the grill situation - we were not able to use it, as it was filthy inside and falling apart. We had purchased nice steaks and chicken to grill and had to change plans. Hot tub was very nice, cabin was very clean. I would recommend the owners provide more cookware, spray cleaner for kitchen cleanup, and also maybe stock cards and games for rainy days or families. The fire pit and chairs are great, but would recommend stocking a bit of covered firewood, lighters, a flash light, and bug spray. Overall I would recommend the cabin - it is beautiful!"
