"Very quiet and private atea. The walk down to cabin was not that bad. There was an ATV trail we hiked right down from the property as well as an excellent bque place. We walked to both. We took our own cooking spices but the coffee supplies were plentiful. My only complaint was the mattress we felt like we were sleeping down hill. Maybe it can be flipped or turned."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and had a great family trip to Red River Gorge. The cabin was comfortable, spacious, well located for exploring the area, and provided a great place for our family to come back to after days spent hiking and sightseeing.We did experience an issue with the central A/C during our stay during a particularly hot stretch of weather. What stood out, though, was how responsive Patrick was once we brought it to his attention. He stayed in communication with us, arranged for temporary cooling, coordinated the necessary HVAC repair, and ultimately got the issue resolved. He was courteous and professional throughout the entire situation.Aside from that issue, which was addressed, we had a very enjoyable stay. The location was convenient for exploring Natural Bridge, Red River Gorge, Nada Tunnel and the surrounding attractions, while still giving us a peaceful place to relax as a family.No property is immune from an unexpected maintenance issue, and for us, how a host responds when something goes wrong says a lot. Patrick handled ours very well, and we appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to make things right. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to the Gorge."

"OMG this was the cutest and coziest little cabin ever!! It has everything you need. Great location. The only downfall is the bed, it’s not comfortable at all. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area."

"Absolutely beautiful cabin in a very gorgeous area with a perfect lake setting. Quiet and peaceful and the turtles and fish below the deck was a great plus especially with the food left out for them. Great set up inside and good amenities outside such as the eating table, grill and swing."

"We LOVED the cabin and its private location--both are SUPERB! Our suggestions: (1) Given the cabin's lack of proximity to a grocery store, a few more provided amenities would be greatly appreciated; and(2) The only road to/from the cabin is several miles long and NOT advisable by 2WD vehicle--especially the LONG, STEEP concrete switchback and several of the heavily rutted and steep gravel sections--our front wheel drive Chevy Trax made it, but only with heavy tire/wheel slip (including on the concrete section due to its extreme grade). We would HIGHLY recommend only accessing the cabin with AWD, at a minimum, and ideally 4WD. Beyond those two friendly suggestions, we loved our stay--thanks so much!"
