- Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a spacious year round home with plenty of beds to accommodate a large family. Enjoy picturesque Sunrises while you walk the Sandy Shores of Hammond Bay. This is a perfect place for a family vacation or a weekend get-a-way. Besides the miles of sandy beach just a short walk from the front door (400 ft), it is located only ten minutes from Oqueoc Falls, the largest falls in Lower Michigan. This vacation home is truly a haven for the outdoor enthusiast, summer or winter it has tons to offer: swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, Kayaking, motorcycling, quading, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
