138 Liberdade Hotel was a good choice overall. It is very well located on a main shopping street, which makes it convenient for exploring the area. The room was clean and spacious, and the service was good throughout our stay. Breakfast was just okay, but the coffee, tea, and pastel de nata station was a lovely extra and a very nice bonus.

Such a lovely hotel in a wonderful spot by the Largo do Carmo. Bernard, the concierge, was absolutely amazing. He actually called us to make sure we were comfortable. And the breakfast (and breakfast room) were delicious.
