Wonderful rental

Great stay!

We stayed for 2 weeks for chemo for my son who has leukemia. It is very clean, everything we needed was there, Kent was a great host, and loved the grocery store Kowalski’s so close. We would love to stay again if available next round of chemo.

Uptown East Isles is conveniently located by the uptown restaurants and walking / biking trails that can take you around the lakes and Minneapolis. Kent is a great host. He was quick to respond to any questions and met us upon arrival to give a tour of the rental, which is equipped with every possible necessity and convenience. My wife and I spent 4 weeks comfortably and hope to return when back in the area.

This place is perfect!

We spent a week at East Isles and it was absolutely perfect. The property is immaculate and appointed very well. The hosts have thought of everything so we didn't have to. The location is fantastic, in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. We would happily stay here again.

Home Sweet Home Away From Home

There are no downsides to staying at Isles Inn Uptown. Kent is the best host in town and maintains the property impeccably. It's comfortable, quiet, clean, secure, and well appointed with everything anyone would need. The location is very convenient. On-street parking has always been easy/available and close, even in winter. So grateful for this wonderful place to stay when in the Twin Cities. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely property

This was probably our best stay with Vrbo. This property was very well furnished and equipped. Our host, Kent, was there to meet us when we arrived, helped us with luggage and gave us a walk through of the apartment. We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the location as it is very close to Lake of the Isles and uptown both. Great restaurants nearby and walking/running and bike paths galore.

Geat Stay!

My wife and I were in town to see family and friends. We’re both from the Cities and were looking forward to a Southwest Minneapolis week. The place was terrific! Kent and Liz were welcoming and attentive to all the details a guest could ask for. (Even had different size umbrellas!). Location and block also terrific. Lake of the Aisles a hop skip away. A 5 + rating from us!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BEST Twin Cities VRBO

This property and its hosts are first class, our favorite home away from home, always our first choice when we come to Mpls. There is nothing to worry about here at all. It's super clean, exceptionally well maintained, stocked with all the kitchenware you could need, very nice bed and bath linens, and all the comforts, in any season. Not a single problem during any of our many visits, short or long stays. Also a great location to pivot quickly to wherever you may be going during your stay. Thanks again for a comfortable, fully functional, worry free stay!

Best and Most Favorite!

Isles Inn Uptown is the gem you're searching for! There will be no disappointment, no matter the season. Everything is super clean and exceptionally well maintained, and fully functional. It's quiet, comfortable, and has a warm inviting cheerful decor. Kitchen is fully equipped. Excellent bathrooms, clean and great water pressure. It's easy to control the heat or AC, and the fireplace provides an instant warm up when you come in from the chill. Excellent location close to Lake of the Isles and easy access to everywhere else. On-street parking right in front has always been easy for us every time we've stayed. Kent and Liz are the best hosts and readily available if needed. A home away from home, great for short or longer stays. You can't go wrong here. We always love staying here as it eliminates the difficulty or discomfort of being away from home. Thank you for another wonderful stay at Isles In Uptown!

Pristine!

I stayed at Isles Inn Uptown for 6 nights while visiting friends in nearby Lowry Hill. The apartment is absolutely pristine. It’s clear that the hosts have put a great deal of thought into anticipating the needs their guests may have while traveling, both large and small. The design reflects their creativity, close attention to detail, and sense of fun. They have put together a very helpful binder full of instructions, information about the neighborhood and larger Minneapolis area, nearby restaurants etc. Communication is straightforward. And the location is outstanding! I skipped renting a car and walked to services, the lakes, the Walker, MIA and downtown. I used Uber/Lyft at night without issue. I would reserve this apartment again in a flash. Thank you!

Great location, great host, and awesome place

We had a great time in Minneapolis, and it was made even better by the location and quality of this rental.The host was helpful and informative. The place was well-stocked with everything we needed for our week and a half stay.Close to downtown, this quiet neighborhood offers easy access to bike paths and lakes. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Minneapolis.

Best VRBO / great neighborhood

Simply put: Isles Inn Uptown Minneapolis Lake of the Isles was a fantastic stay for us. The Inn and our hosts proved to be our best VRBO experience ever: period! I cannot recommend enough the Inn, hosts and location (great neighborhood). We look for to a return visit!!

Comfortable place in a beautiful location

I had a wonderful stay at Isles Inn Uptown. The place is well appointed and well cared for. It's located in a tree lined neighborhood, within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores, and nearby Lake of the Isles. I especially appreciated the flexibility with check in and the fast, reliable wifi provided. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great location

Great location for our month-long winter adventure. The Chain of Lakes make for great outdoor fun, including groomed cross-country ski trails. Very convenient to lots of great restaurants and close to a couple of bus lines that allowed us access to the entire metro area. Lastly, the apartment had lots of light due to many windows.

Best VRBO

We have stayed at so many VRBO properties several times a year for over a decade and this is by far the best in all respects. No detail is overlooked --- the property is super clean, comfortable, extremely well maintained, and has everything you need for a perfect short or longer home-away-from-home stay in any season. It's a great Minneapolis location near Lake of the Isles (easy short walk) from which to go anywhere in the Twin Cities and surrounds quickly. Every time we stay at Isles Inn Uptown it makes our trip easy and stress-free. No need to worry about anything here and also the hosts are attentive, helpful, and friendly. We are looking forward to our next stay here, and so disappointed when it's not available for one of our trip dates and we have to stay elsewhere!

Wonderful neighborhood for walking, and sleeping

We loved walking around the neighborhood and lakes in the evening as it was hot and humid during the day. It stays lighter this far north and there were lots of couples and families walking at the same time. The apartment has great air conditioning so we kept cool. We also slept well as the apartment is in the back, not on the street so it's quiet. There are many cafes around to choose from and we enjoyed the fact that we could walk to them. There is a wonderful supermarket just 2 blocks away. Kent and Liz were there to greet us, and made us feel very welcome!!

Craftsmanship and cleanliness

Kent is a man who takes his own experiences as a renter of VRBO properties and applies them to his presentation as an owner. Detailed themes enrich the experience. The 800 sq foot apt is usable and he makes the space work. The owners live on site but are noninvasive and professional. However if you want to talk and enjoy educated discourse, by all means stop and chat with kent and Liz. We stayed there a month and really enjoyed our time on Humboldt Ave S. One small touch I liked. Rolled up clean towels in the drawer. Also the kitchen is well appointed and has everything one could need.

We keep coming back!

This property is perfect. We have stayed here multiple times, short and long stays. Each time the apartment is super clean, comfortable, and impeccably maintained and furnished. Kent and Liz are excellent premium hosts, the location is central to uptown, downtown, freeway system, Lake of the Isles and Mpls chain of Lakes, the Walker, the Sculpture Garden, Loring. Easy and quick to go anywhere in the twin cities or stay nearby and enjoy the immediate neighborhood. The Isles Inn Uptown apartment itself is quiet and private, has everything you need, and everything works properly. It's very comfortable and functional, and climate control is easy in any season. We have already booked our next stay, and are so thankful for such a great place to stay when we come to town a few times each year. Also, on-street parking has never been a problem for us either. There was always a spot available, usually directly in front of the property or nearby. Thank you Kent and Liz for another lovely stay!

Incredible place in an incredible neighborhood!

This place was so beautiful and well equipped. It made me think about how I could improve my own home with more beautiful finishes. It was very well stocked with towels and wash clothes, two huge TV's, a fireplace, a great kitchen and the neighborhood is so beautiful. We took walks by Lake of the Isles each day and through out the neighborhood. And Kent is a great host and very helpful. We will stay again for sure.
