This adorable 100-year-old St. Paul farmhouse is in the heart of city life while offering a quiet refuge within the home and backyard. The farmhouse is only blocks away from lively shops and local restaurants and cafes and less than a mile from the light rail and Allianz Field. Downtown St. Paul is just 10 minutes away, and downtown Minneapolis is just 15 minutes away. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home maintains its old charm, crooks and quirks while offering the comfort of modern day needs, including updated appliances, central air conditioning and wifi.

This home is small yet spacious with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a living room. Each bedroom is large and has a work/reading nook. There's an enclosed front porch that's definitely 3 seasons, and can be 4 seasons with a space heater. The farmhouse is a cozy space to gather and enough quiet nooks to enjoy some solitude too.

Spring Visit to St. Paul

Great location. Walking distance to see Loons play, Whole foods and fun neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive to suggestions.

Overall, our stay at the rental was decent—neither exceptional nor terrible. The interior was fine, but the exterior of the property was a major letdown. The landscaping has clearly been neglected for quite some time. Plants, flowers, and trees around the house and driveway were severely overgrown, making access to the home inconvenient and uninviting. We had to navigate through thick weeds and low-hanging branches just to reach the front door.The backyard, which features a fire pit and seating area, was unfortunately unusable due to the overwhelming growth of weeds and vegetation. It’s a shame, because with proper maintenance, the outdoor space could be a real highlight.I strongly recommend that the owners invest in professional landscaping to restore the property’s curb appeal and functionality. The photo speaks for itself—nature is reclaiming the space, and it’s detracting from the overall experience.
