    If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay, the Garden View offers a bright and playful retreat with room to unwind, work, cook, or simply relax.

    Located just a half-flight up from street level in the Wheeler Street Victorian, this cozy, but spacious one-bedroom apartment blends cheerful garden energy with comfortable living. Mornings can begin slowly with coffee in the sunny kitchen or sitting on the deck, listening to the morning chirps while evenings invite movies, games, or quiet time after exploring the Twin Cities.

    The surrounding neighborhood is a quiet residential mix of retired, as well as work-from-home residents, creating a calm and welcoming environment just minutes from both downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

    A Space Inspired by my Mum & Pop!

    The Garden View was inspired by the warm hospitality I grew up with. My Mum always created spaces that felt welcoming and bright, while my Pops believed a chair, good conversation, and a little laughter made any house feel like home. Many of the details throughout this apartment reflect that spirit—comfort, playfulness, and small thoughtful touches meant to help guests slow down and enjoy their time together. The result is a space that feels light, cheerful, and quietly relaxing.

    Guests staying at the Garden View- Unit 2- have private access to the bright cheerful floor plan, with warm natural light throughout, enhanced by sheers and drapes.

    • Peaceful bedroom with a comfortable queen mattress and quality linens designed for restful sleep. Room-darkening blinds and drapes allow you to sleep in, while sheers welcome the morning light. Clothing storage is available in the closet with both hanging space and drawers, laundry basket, and Turkish beach towels are also provided for guest use. Find items such as a lint brush or a sewing kit to help with your immediate needs of your trip!

    • Two comfortable workspaces, perfect for remote work, journaling, or planning your Twin Cities adventures. The first is at the desk- an obvious, the second is in the kitchen- counter level right next to the Kuerig!

    • Dining area with table, elegant drinkware perfect for casual conversations, formal meals or an evening of cribbage, puzzles or board games. Enjoy either Vinyl and CD's on the Victrola player with curated music.

    • Full bathroom featuring the home’s original 1911 clawfoot tub along with a shower! Find plenty of towels and high-end soaps, shampoos, and lotions. Additional items such as a hair dryer, cotton swabs, first aid kit, and other helpful extras can also be found in and around the space.

    • Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishware, and everything needed for preparing meals, tea, or coffee (Keurig coffee maker, coffees, electric kettle, teas, toaster, jams, and blender). ( Stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher)

    • Tucked-away covered porch wrapped in flowing sheers- hints of rainbows creating a cozy outdoor seating nook for morning coffee, fresh air, or in the evenings, this deck gets bright and busy (turn off lights if they are not your vibe by timer on deck, or just ask your host!)

    • Easy entry, using the ULOQ keyless locks, same experience from the front entry or your back door.

    • Playful details and thoughtful touches throughout that make the space feel welcoming and relaxed
