"We had two rooms as we were a family of five and didn’t want to be cramped. We were here out of town out of state for a college graduation room number one smelled of smoke or something. It was terribly dirty. One of the lamps was not plugged in when I went to plug in the cord the base of the lamp was absolutely disgusting. Not sure what was spilled all over it, but you could tell it had not been cleaned in a very long time we had to move the bedside table to plug something in, and it was sticky underneath. The bathroom was filthy. The floor look like it had not been washed. The corners were caked in dirt. I don’t know what was on one of the walls, but it was gross. The towels were worn. The staff was very friendly. I had to go ask for more toilet paper because we were given 2 half rolls for 2 night stay. The second room seemed to be a little bit better. There was no smoke. I do want to point out that both rooms are non-smoking. I will also say you get what you pay for I could have gone down the road and paid $50-$60 more a night for a room, but I chose not to however do not advertise and show pictures of a beautiful room. Be careful driving in there’s potholes all over in parking lot. this is more like a one night construction, trucker quick rest. Careful with the beds too they’re metal and they’re very noisy. Don’t move too much cause he might wake the person up next to you"

"Everything just ok. Room was good not great. Ancient TV remote had no back on it. No A/C in hotel except the window unit. All rooms had windows open. Trying to save $ which we did but you get what you pay for. "

"Rooms could have been quieter. Lots of foot traffic in hallway and doors closing heard from inside room. Breakfast was not the best quality. More fresh food and less processed food would be appreciated. "

"Felt like i was being transported back in time. Great old world service from the moment you enter. Missed out on the 5 course breakfast but the owners graciously got up early to prepare me a breakfast and coffee to go. "

"The staff is very friendly and accessible. The room was clean and comfortable. The gathering space was an unexpected bonus. The location is excellent, a short walk to downtown Trempealeau and a hiking trail with a great view across the street. Would highly recommend if you are hoping to stay in the area."
