Ride escalators between the plazas of this exclusive gated resort village and enjoy warm cookies after an afternoon on the slopes.

Beaver Creek is a private mountain resort that caters to an upmarket crowd. This luxury ski destination is centered on a European-style base village, lined with neo-Tirolean buildings and heated walkways. Discover the area’s 1,815 acres (734 hectares) of slopes, browse art galleries in the village and tee off on the scenic golf course.

Explore Beaver Creek’s glamorous pedestrian-friendly village, where restaurants, shops and other facilities are connected by heated walkways and escalators. Have a chocolate chip cookie, freshly baked every afternoon. Look for beautiful bronze sculptures throughout the village and dine at a restaurant patio with picturesque views.

The family-friendly Beaver Creek Ski Area offers more than 149 trails served by 17 lifts. The slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain are connected to the equally well-groomed slopes of Bachelor Gulch, which is in turn connected to Arrowhead. The result is a European-style village-to-village ski experience. Head to one of the three terrain parks for snowboarding or take on the challenge of the Stone Creek Chutes with the resort’s steepest runs.

Ride lifts and gondolas in the summer to access the resort’s scenic hiking and biking trails. Stop at the Beaver Creek Hiking Center first for help planning your route. Alternatively, hone your golf skills at the massive Beaver Creek Golf Course, a scenic course with challenging long and narrow fairways.

Don’t miss the Black Family Ice Rink, a lovely open-air rink of smooth ice open every afternoon. See a show at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, which features events ranging from aerial dance performances to orchestra productions.

Check the schedule to see what signature events the resort will be hosting during your visit. These activities range from snow sport competitions to culinary demos, a rodeo, arts festivals and an Octoberfest celebration.

Find Beaver Creek in the Rocky Mountains, 9 miles (14 kilometers) west of Vail. A 2-hour drive from Denver, the resort is served by both Denver International andVail/Eagle County airports.
