Casa Grande

Enjoy the good life at Casa Grande, only a few steps to the beach and just across the street from the main pool. There's a great pool view from every porch. This fabulous 5 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath home sleeps 15 and is located in the gated community of Emerald Shores.

Emerald Shores is a family-oriented community with two pools, (one heated in winter), tennis court, basketball, and PRIVATE COMMUNITY BEACH PAVILION WITH RESTROOM FACILITIES! Our trolley runs to the beach daily in the summer months, but you can just walk the 500 feet to the beach easily. This is a great community for your vacation and even better for our snowbird friends long term in the winter- a great escape from the cold weather.

This comfortable home is located on the south end of Emerald Shores where you can walk to several fine restaurants. Enjoy Free WI-FI, local phone calls, cable flat-screen TVs in every room and a surround sound stereo system that has speakers throughout the entire home. We have all tile on the first floor and hardwood on the second floor. No allergies from carpet in this home.

There are 4 covered porches at this home where you can sit, relax and enjoy the Destin life. Grill out on the gas grill or cook inside in the fully equipped kitchen.

Emerald Shores is located centrally in Destin, so you don't have to drive far to go anywhere. Just a couple of miles east to Sandestin where you can dine, play, or chill at the Village of Baytown Wharf. Enjoy shopping, eating and entertainment at nearby Destin Commons or play at the fun water park Big Kahunas. You may choose to spend a day at the Harbor, watching the fishing fleet come in with the catch of the day, take in one of the fine restaurants, or play at night at one of the many night clubs. Numerous golf courses are within a few miles.

First Floor:
Living Room, Dining, Kitchen, Office area, Utility room, Powder room and King Master Suite with a super large walk-in closet. Private bathroom boasts a big corner garden tub, Double vanity and walk in shower.

Second Floor:
Loft Area with Chair Bed, walk out covered porch, king guest room with adjacent bathroom, another queen bedroom, bunkbeds room with trundle (sleeps 3), a single bed with trundle and finally a huge King master Suite with another convertible double chair and a full bath. There is a walk out porch from this bedroom as well.

There's not much more to ask for at Casa Grande.... just YOU! Come enjoy your Destin vacation here and make fabulous memories for a lifetime.

Florida beach getaway

It was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The complex was very nice with pools and close beach access. It was a short walk to the beach with a frequent shuttle if needed.

Our family loved this house ..it fit all of our needs with 9 adults 2 children & 2 small dogs . The community is quiet and family friendly with great pool access and a short walk to the beach . We would definitely stay here again.our host was quick to respond if we had any questions .

This is a great house for extended family! Plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked— we cooked a lot for a big family. The walk to the beach was pretty short and we used the beach trolley a few times. The five bedrooms were perfect for us. We had people aged 2 to 82. We felt very blessed to have this home away from home.

Beautiful home steps to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this home. We had 7 adults and one child and there was plenty of room for all. The pool is steps from the home too. The house was clean and had plenty of cooking pans and utensils. There are places to eat and get coffee with-in walking distance. We had a great time making new memories and hope to come back one day soon.

Beautiful Home

House was beautiful! There were 6 adults and one baby. We all had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay immensely. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. The extra refrigerator, baby gate, and fans were a big help. Loved the location as well! Thanks to the owners for renting to us, we hope to be back next year!

Spring Break Getaway

House was big and beautiful! Fit our needs perfectly. However, a good deep clean is definitely in order. And the mold in the upstairs bathroom should be addressed. That was definitely an eye sore and didn’t help with the musty smell.

Wonderful stay!

The perfect set-up for a large family! With 3 king size beds and plenty of additional beds for our teens, this was the best set-up we have found for our growing family. Al was wonderful to work with, very accommodating and the property itself was clean and convenient. We love Emerald Shores and this house did not disappoint! We will definitely look forward to returning!

Beautiful House!!

This house was perfect for our group of 14 and 2 dogs! The pool was right across from us, a dollar general within walking distance, our favorite restaurant Kenny D’s in walking distance and the most important piece, the beach was in walking distance! The house had everything we needed to make and serve meals. Outdoor shower to finish getting all the sand off of us and the beach items! The private beach access was amazing! Access to bathrooms and a drink stand all under a pavilion. Also had a shuttle from the house to a short walk to the beach. Over all the house had enough space for 5 kids to play and sleep. The adults had space to group around and hang around outside. Would definitely recommend this house!

Beach house plus!

Our family of 12 had plenty of room in this very nice beach home! Just a short 5 minute walk to the private beach, and a pool right outside your door! The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had. It was a great family vacation!

We loved our stay at Casa Grande. Close to pool, beach, restaurants and shopping! Our grandkids loved the pool and beach! Weather was great and the house was very comfy and homey!! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us!! House was beautiful!

The house couldn’t have been better! Perfect size for our extended family (11 total) and so close to everything we needed! We had some issues upon check in with the property manager but the owner Al was quick to respond and fixed any issues immediately! Al was wonderful, attentive, and communicated exceptionally!!

Great Family Time

House was perfect. We had 8 adults and 6 kids from 5-12. While we were there, we had a uncommon 3 days of double red flag days. The 2 pools kept the kids entertained during those time. 2 wagons for beach travel made it easy to load up. Al was very friendly and informative for our arrival.

Beautiful house

The house was great for our family vacation. The kitchen is great and the rooms are separate providing privacy. My siblings and I with our children and mother and father had a wonderful trip. The 14 of us had plenty of room. The walk to the beach was longer than I expected and we had to cross the road but it was way enough to get to. The location of the pool was perfect.

Casagrande August 2023

The booking and check-in was easy with the property owner friendly and promptly responsive to all our questions. The house is huge, we had 4-5 families with 11-13 persons and 2 small dogs with plenty of room, kitchen was tight but efficient. The two king master suites were a huge hit but other bedrooms were spacious as well. Convenient to the pool, the beach and overflow parking if you need more than 3 spaces. The gated neighborhood was great (as usual) our 12th year in Emerald Shores. I would recommend this house and hope that stay again.

We love Emerald Shores and the location to the beach is great. The owner was so helpful and very quick to reply. We were given the wrong check-in codes for the gate and the house from the management company. However, the owner was quick to make sure we had all we needed to correct the situation. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Family Reunion

My family and I stayed here for a family reunion/summer vacation. Al was very responsive and easy to get a hold of of we needed anything. The house was exactly how described and slept all of us comfortable. The second day we were there the washer and dryer broke and I contacted Al and he immediately looked into the situation and kept us updated.

Amazing Stay, Highly Recommend

This house is fantastic! We stayed here with 5 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 kids and we had more than enough room. The house is a short walk to the beach and was very comfortable. The owner, Al, was super kind and helpful. The few suggestions I do have are minor. 1. The door code we were given didn't work so we left the place open most of the time. 2. They sent us an email stating that the house had salt and pepper so I took it off my grocery list, but there wasn't. No biggie, I just thought it was funny that they specifically said there would be. 3. There weren't any potholders and only one dish towel. We went to get stuff out of the oven and were like, "Uh oh!" Other than those very minor suggestions we absolutely loved it! We would highly recommend!

Beutiful house in a great neighborhood

This is a beautiful house in a great location however there are a few issues that need to be addressed. The icemaker in the fridge is awful! after a whole night of recycling we woke up to maybe 10-15 ice cubes made so we were constantly buying bags of ice. There were no dish towels or dish rags in the kitchen so we had to use the white hand towels and washcloths from the bathrooms.We had an issue with a broken door knob on the patio door but Al quickly took care of the issue and was very prompt in his replies to all of my questions. Plan on bringing extra toilet paper as there is only one roll in each bathroom to start you off. All in all we had a wonderful time at the house. Perfect location to pool, beach, and restaraunts!
