Great Stay..too short a visit
Our stay at Beachwalk was wonderful !!! The unit was clean, comfortable and close to beach life and the resort. The internet access was an issue, but with Silvano's help we worked through it. We loved the use of the golf cart for getting around. This would be a spot we would definitely come back to. :)

We enjoyed our stay and had only a few nitpicky complaints. Dryer took hours to dry anything. Living room sofa def needs an update and the golf cart doesn’t have any kind of battery light indicating whether it was charged or not. The instructions said to make sure you saw a light on somewhere when charging but we never saw any kind of light indicating it was charging or not. Thankful we didn’t have any problems with it but def made it a concern when using it not knowing if it was gonna die at anytime. Other than that everything was great and I’d give it 4.5 stars. Owner was great to communicate with. Property was clean. Area was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay!

Midweek stay - beautiful weather. Cute condo - very clean. Golf cart was great. Been to Sandestin Resort so many times. I found this listing on VRBO and the price was much less than when I’ve rented through the resort. It’s close to (walking distance) from a couple of great restaurants- Maple Street Biscuits for breakfast and I can’t recommend Tuscany (dinner) enough. Property manager is responded quickly to any questions I had

Great location and so nice to have the golf cart!
Great location with easy access to Baytowne, beach access and plenty of restaurants. The golf cart is a huge perk for this! The only suggestions we have would be a thicker blanket/bedding in the secondary bedroom and adding some dark colored rags/towels for makeup removal or wiping hands since it's noted to please not use the white rags/towels. Overall great experience with everything we needed!

Great location
We loved the location of this property! 3 minute ride in the golf cart to the beach and with the owners tag on the cart we parked directly in front of The Beach House restaurant. Also just a 5 minute cart ride to the golf course and Baytowne Wharf. Right in front of the condo is a shopping center with several amazing restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Great value and wonderful location
Only a short golf cart trip to the whole beach and gulf experience. The townhome was super clean and had all the amenities one would need for a great vacation. The owner was super organized from the onset of reservation to having quick responses over text while enjoying the property. One of the best rentals in Destin!

Great location, good space, comfortable beds! Mold in one of the bathrooms, stingy with trash bags, detergent, TP, etc. A couple hundred higher per night than my friends paid for villas in same area just one set down each direction.

The villa was as described, clean, updated and comfortable. The golf cart was really nice to have to get around all the property and to the shopping center next to the north side of the property. I recommend this VRBO villa.

I believe the following items to to be addressed by the owner: 1-Provide written instructions for microwave,dishwasher, tv and VCR. 2-Provide written channel guide in living room. 3-Put non-slip mat in front bedroom bathtub. 4-Replace stove surface light. 5-Fix voltage meter on golf cart. Registers 0. 6-Provide instructions for golf cart battery charger. Charging meter read 0 and cord with lights in connection did not work. 6-Put decent handsoap/sanitizer in bathrooms. 7-Label light switches. 8-Clean grill. Very dirty. 9-Replace #7 on front of condo. Unreadable. 10-Bicycles in dire need of tuneup, rust removal and air in tires. 11-Unable to fully close front gate or open gate leading to chair storage area. Would not rent from this VRBO site again.

Great place but not easy to get to beach
The condo and neighborhood was very clean and very nice. The golf cart worked great. You could get to the entrance to the beach via the golf cart or vehicle. The issue was you had to park about a 150 yards away and walk to the entrance carrying what ever you were taking to the beach (ice chest, chairs). This was just the entrance, then you had to walk to find a spot to stake your claim. The water view from the condo was a stagnant pond…it was okay. I have no issues with the condo or surrounding area but it is not what I call “near” the beach.

To all future guests: In regards to the previous review… Sandestin is a very popular and successful resort. I recommend going to the beach early and parking is always readily available ….if you do have to park farther than you would like you are able to bring your car to the front entrance of the beach area and unload your chairs , cooler etc. Then go park your car or the complimentary golf cart whichever you decided to use to get to the beach. There is a lake behind this condo not a pond. To clarify how close this property is to the beach it is only a 3 or 4 minute golf cart ride away about 1/ third of a mile. A place to stay with many options.
This place is centrally located between the beach and Bay Town Wharf with a short drive by the golf cart that is included. We really like how the 2 bedroom were located upstairs and both had separate bathrooms. By being upstairs it disconnected from any activity that was happening in the living room or kitchen. If I had one negative thing to say would be the access to the beach, just a little bit of a walk after you park the golf cart. Although the golf cart comes in very handy to cruise around the property along with visiting the Bay Town Wharf and Marina.

R&R with the family
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is my #1 go to place for a weekend getaway in the Destin / Miramar Beach area. The resort premises are beautiful. We have typically stayed in the condos with beach front views and while this villa does not offer beach front views we still relaxed in the back patio with a view of the lake. The resort beach is a very short drive away either in a golf cart (included with our rental) or by car. We had some issues with the golf cart headlights, tail lights, and horn not working but the property manager was very responsive and took care of the issue relatively quickly. The villa is in fairly good condition. We love the fact that each bedroom has a king size bed and their own bathroom. And oh by the way… the mattresses are the best. So good, in fact, my husband and I are talking about buying the same mattress for our bedroom. We had a great time and were able to rest and relax.

Best location!
My friend and I neither one had been to the Destin area. I researched and read until my head hurt. I finally saw this listing had 2 king size beds with their own bathrooms, plus a golf cart and other extras to use at the beach! Perfect for two ladies that went without their husbands. We loved the golf cart- it literally takes you to the beach in less than 5 minutes or across the highway through the tunnel To many other fun opportunities to shop, eat and play! You could easily just stay on this property without a car and not miss a beat. We also walked to the best DONUTS on the planet- like a 3 minute walk to parlor donuts -just go- every morning. Our only warning- find out if there’s construction on the units connected to yours. Every single morning we were awaken to hammering, saws, etc. it was the only downer on our vacation, but it just made us get an earlier start to our day. Nothing our owner really had control over.

Our first trip to Destin was great.
Property was clean and quick easy access to the beach with the golf cart. The back patio area was smaller than I envisioned from the pictures, but was ok. Had some hiccups with the gold cart several times but the Property manager provided his for our use the last day or so. Property manager is great to work with, very convenient to communicate with and quick response.

Nice layout of home and use of cart to get around the resort is a plus. We had some issues with the washer but the owner allowed us to use another unit nearby until it was fixed. Was good with family and could also see it being good for a guys trip for golfing.
