Lake Muskoka retreat! Perfect spot for family and friends.

"First and foremost, the host was available and responsive and cared that we had an excellent experience at his cottage. We were welcomed with 3 bottles of wine and 2 boxes of s’mores in the kitchen. What a nice touch.Spectacular view of the lake from the cottage. The hot tub was flushed and clean, dock trampoline were new, lots of beach towels, extra propane tank available for the bbq , the place was immaculate when we checked in. There was a power outage and Sam kept us updated on when it would be back.I cannot say much more than you will be very happy with your stay as Sam really cares that you enjoy your vacation. Gravenhurst farmers market on Wednesdays is a must to go.Enjoy!!!"

"Amazing location right in the heart of Muskoka. Most affordable place we could find in the area and clean as a whistle inside. Beware of Cobra Chickens (Canadian Geese) as they keep their distance, keep your distance from them too. Loons can be heard nearly every day. Don't feed the wildlife.Fishing off the dock wasn't bad at all (some hand-size large mouth bass and sunfish in our experience), but the best fishing is out in the nearby lakes. Plenty of watercraft rentals nearby. Easy access to supplies and restaurants by car. Nearby Shell station, groceries, dispensary. The nearest hospital is 20mins away, in-town EMS. EVERYTHING you could need. A great stay indeed.Quick aside on those birds for city people: As part of the nature of Muskoka, they will leave poop in all parts of the region. Watch your step."
