"I found a big water bug like roach in the bathroom and use the towels to place it at Todo to contain them into the bathroom. I wanted to tell the staff and ask for a reduced rating because I watched that area all night without good sleep."

"This hotel was very rundown. We had no cold water, there was only very hot water so we were unable to take showers or comfortably wash our hands or face. The housekeepers were all very kind and helpful. However, the manager was not willing to offer any type of compensation and could not understand why we wanted compensation, because he said he sent the maintenance technician up. At the time the maintenance technician came to the room, we were not dressed and so could not allow him in at that time. I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice hotel."

"Room was clean and spacious. Well appointed and comfortable. Air conditioning doesn’t work well. Despite setting the thermometer low we couldn’t get the room below 74. Makes for a tougher sleep when it’s so hot in the room. Breakfast was prebooked, Sunday was a pitiful buffet. Monday was grab and go and limited. Was not properly explained at booking. Overall a well located property. I’d stay here again. "

"I love this hotel. The omelettes at the restaurant are amazing - best I’ve ever had. Staff is professional and friendly. Beds are heavenly. Highly recommend. "

"Everything was good except the hot tub didn’t work properly and I really looked forward to using it. Also, I liked that Whal Burger offers room service and breakfast, but it would be awesome for the hotel to offer other options such as other restaurants that serves seafood, steak, Mexican, frozen margaritas, and/or buffets where you don’t have to make reservations."

"Room was clean bar was nice, room 515 was very noisy before 8 a.m every morning…. We checked out way before check out time due to the noise"

"A nice economy hotel in a great location across from the Mississippi River and easy walking distance to Beale Street and The Peacock Hotel. Underground parking, clean rooms, very friendly staff. Included breakfast is more than adequate."

"I had a lovely stay at the River Inn. It is a beautiful property, well decorated with beautiful views of the Mississippi River and wonderful thoughtful amenities. This is now my go to hotel when in Memphis."

"We had a great stay here! The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. The location was perfect, close to multiple spots around Memphis, so getting around and finding things to do was super easy. Everything was simple to navigate, from check-in to getting in and out during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, a really nice place and we’d definitely stay again!"
