It’s a No for me tho I was probably unlucky & lucky too
Check in place & place itself were very close to station & checking in was easy
Bed is comfortable. I was in a room with bunks & this was fortunate.
I was on 2nd floor & showers are on 1st floor. No problem. Toilets are on both floors which is good.
Room size was good certainly helped by having bunks rather than 1 big bed taking up a lot more floor space.
Sleep quality was poor.
The blinds don’t block out light very well & the building next door had its lights on all night (both nights I stayed) so sleeping was kind of like sleeping with the lights on. Later I took the bed covering off the top bed & hung it off the top beds rail to block off most of the light & this worked well. I was lucky. Avoid room 5 unless you're a single. Tho next door could have the lights off.
Sound proofing wasn’t great. About zero passing traffic at night was good but I could hear the person snoring in the next room. 2 nearby snorers on my 2nd night. Provided ear plugs were handy.
The big win were the bunks coz I could use the bed covering as a screen & also the 2nd pillow was used because a single pillow was too thin.
Why don’t more Japanese hotels have bunks instead of 2 singles? The extra floor space is good.
