"Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff. Could not ask for more. Be aware if you are on the front of the hotel, there is some noise from the street, but this did not spoil our stay in any way. Easy 5 stars."

"We loved our stay! Very clean and lovely views. Kids loved walking to the little park, enjoyed the river mouth area and walked the other direction to the sandy beach. Great takeaways from the spot right in kakanui on our second night. Lovely to be able to bring our dog, he was cozy in his crate and loved poking around the yard, which was very secure."

"Very cool crib. I would note the 4th bedroom is downstairs, which is only an issue if you have children. Otherwise it is an amazing, clean crib that is amazingly close to the beach and the pub."
