"If the phrase "Dont judge a book by it's cover" was ever true, this Day's Inn is the perfect analogy of it - a work in progress toward 4 1/2 stars . . . slightly dirty, dinged and creased on the outside, but once inside the room, very clean, modern, recently updated spacious room. Despite proximity to highway, no decernible noise, very quiet. Best mattresses/sleep on a weeks roadtrip, which included stays at Wingate by Wyndham, Sparks by Hilton, and a Hampton Inn. Very large double sided mirrored barn styled door between sleeping portion and bathroom. Very friendly, helpful check-in staff. NOTE to those who are physically challenged in any way, there is NO elevator to the second floor, be sure to ask for a first floor room. All rooms are accessible from the outside parking lot or second floor balcony hall way. Deductive points - Difficult to find and access hotel from highway/main road in the rain or dark, one can easily end up in either Panchos Tacos or at Motel 6 and miss the enterence, lack of body soap in shower (shampoo & Conditioner - yes, but no soap dispenser), No evening and weak coffee and "blah" breakfast selection (true for most economic motel chains). Recommended, once you get past the rough exterior n weeds . . ."

"Staff is incredibly helpful. The rooms are much better than the outside of the hotel would suggest. Still my go-to stay for me and crew at Mid-Ohio. That said, furniture and stuff are starting to look rode hard and put away wet. Dings, scratches and broken things are accumulating. Hotel lost power and water due to storms; main panel burned out loss. We were at Mid-O and didn’t know. Hotel found us a room elsewhere. Better hotel. No additional charge. That’s great service."

"We had a wonderful time at the schoolhouse! Everything was as described and our family enjoyed a relaxing, but fun weekend. The building was stocked with all the things that one might need. We enjoyed the time we spent in the schoolhouse and our visit to Mohican State Park, which is also beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this unique property. Thank you Garrett for making everything go so smoothly and for maintaining such a lovely historic property."

"We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was enjoyable. All the reminders about the hot tub made me think that previous people were not respectful or clean with the property so I was a little nervous to use anything. It was a little creepy not having curtains or blinds on the windows. The only rooms with full privacy were the main floor bedroom, bathroom, and downstairs bedroom. A secluded cabin in the woods with just us girls (me being the only adult) gave me “The Hills Have Eyes” vibes lol. The game cabinet was a great idea along with the pool table. The showers/ bathrooms were clean and thats important to me. The water didnt smell like sulphur either. Otherwise, great experience and would stay here again."

"This tiny-home get-way was just what we needed. Nestled in the woods, well off the road, and secluded by natural tree cover. The coziness and uniqueness of this home was the appeal and so glad we 'took a chance'. It was just right.Our hostess communicated with us regularly, before and after arrival, and was ready to assist with the smallest of questions. We settled in at the fire ring and enjoyed tending the flames while sipping cold drinks, catching up on our reading, and just relaxing.Plenty of things to do nearby as well as smaller grocery and large (WalMart) 'everything' stores to get that "oh, we should have brought this...." items.If you're looking for that just-right place to get away, this is it. One hour and ten minutes from our home (Medina, Ohio...) and has all you need to relax and enjoy your get-away with. Give this tiny-home a chance to prove itself. We'll be back!....."

"Great communication and easy check-in. There was 7 of us and 8 bath towels and we stayed 2 nights so would be nice if there was a washer and dryer to use also it says there's firewood and there is but it's 5 a bundle and no lighter. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend the place but just saying so that you come prepared."
