"Absolutely awful! You can get a hotel for the same price or less on the beach. This place isn't anywhere close to the ocean. Not to mention the breakfast was awful, orange juice that tastes like water, generic, thin bacon! The temperature control in the rooms wasn't user friendly and froze when I slept. Dirty sheets. 2/10 Terrible

"Initial room smelled like someone had been cooking food in it so we were given a second room. Second room had obviously not been used in quite some time as there was dust on the nightstand. There was no body wash in the dispenser. There were four of us staying in the room yet there was only two sets of towels in the bathroom. Both double beds were very uncomfortable and mattresses were worn out. There were mold spots on the ceiling in the bathroom and peeling paint. The bathroom light switch to enter the was filthy. I had to kill a fairly large bug with my book while sitting in the bathroom. The filtered in the ice machines needed to be changed per the unit itself. Carpet in the hallways was cut or worn or stretched out. The location, although convenient for getting two and from the airport, Was not a good location for any type of restaurant or shopping or beach use. The one positive was the cleaning staff. They were prompt with more towels and refilling of the soap dispenser."

"The location was great. Approximately 30 minutes to get into Honolulu and the same to get up to the north coast. Having two bedrooms with additional sleeping accommodations available was great."

"We were initially wowed by the property. It is a huge advantage to have driveway parking and the house is spacious and well maintained. The location is central to many activities and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The kitchen has a reasonable number of pots, pans, and baking trays, but was not really equipped for a group larger than four. There was not a 9x13 pan or any way to bake for a family even though the house is advertised as sleeping 6. There were only dishes and silverware for four, again, workable but lacking for a house that is advertised to sleep 6. We also found that the lack of dishwasher and laundry facilities (as listed in the property description) were more of a hindrance than we anticipated, especially for the prices being charged to rent this property. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
