VILLA QUARANTA Tommasi Wine Resort & Thermal SPA

"The room was clean and spacious for the rate, quite silent despite the neighbouring rooms being also occupied. There was a wasp nest outside the window so opening for ventilation was not an option, unfortunately - but it wasn't too much of a problem given we had A/C on almost all the time (it was about 35-40C outside and the A/C could cope perfectly). Breakfast was good, served in a downstairs room with the option to sit outside. Variety was just fine for continental breakfast with some cold cuts, scrambled eggs, roasted veggies, fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes and excellent variety of traditional Italian pastries and cakes / pies. The pool was in great condition, the gym was excellent and the only area that could do with some minor better maintenance was the spa. Overall a super pleasant experience."

"We had a fabulous stay at the villa as a family of 16. There is an amazing amount of space within and outwith the property. Everything you could need is provided. The pool is fantastic and onsite gardener keeps everything very clean. Secure gated property with ample parking.The area is quiet in terms of the town, but fantatsic for trips out, we visited Sirmione, Bardolino, Verona, Venice and more during our stay.Locally we visited the Brunelli winery for a tour and tasting, just a short walk and excellent experience. We also hired a private chef one evening, Davide and his wife from Laboratorio Caprini who created a wonderful tasting menu with paired wines which was fabulous, highly recommend.Communication from Francesco regarding the property and any little niggles were all dealt with very quickly and we managed to meet him on check out.All in all a fabulous stay for our extended family, highly recommend and we would totally consider a return visit."

"We stayed here for one night with our family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Gardaland Resort, which was perfect for our plans. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We had a completely positive experience and would happily stay here again."

"When we arrived my wife thought I'd booked a four star boutique hotel. The welcome from the friendly owners, the spotless large and airy rooms, the tasteful blend of modern and traditional. This is a perfect location to explore Verona and Lake Garda too. Don't decide based on a review, book and you won't be disappointed. "
