Outrigger hotels in Molokai, Hawaii

"Loved everything about Nāpili Shores. Our trip started with a free upgrade to an Ocean view room. Spent the entire week looking at Molokai which was awesome! We had a couple of good dinners at Kitchen 5315 which was never crowded. And, we rented snorkeling equipment onsite and snorkeled everyday at amazing Napili Bay which is next door. Couldn’t ask for a better vacation!"

"The Outrigger was an amazing place to stay. We walked out the door and to the beach about 100 yards away. We went snorkeling right off the beach and saw turtles, and so many beautiful fish and coral. The people who ran the Outrigger had many complimentary, fun things to do at the hotel every day, like weaving baskets, hula dancing lessons, and learning to play different instruments. All of the people working there were very friendly and helpful. If we have the chance to go back to Maui, we would definitely stay there again."

"This resort is outstanding. I'll list the very few negetives I can think of. As of June, 2025, expect to pay $27 for a burger, $25 for chicken strips, $50+ for steak or seafood, $17- $21 for mixed drinks. Breakfast will be $30 a person or $40 for the buffet. All the lounge chairs will be claimed by 9am; shaded chairs gone by 7am. Nobody will be at them, just towels and maybe a book. Daily self parking is $40 in addition to the $50 daily resort fee. Otherwise... it's beautiful, convenient, ocean views are world class, and the beach is incredible. We love it. "

"The resort was absolutely beautiful. It was kid friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants and the markets gave us plenty of food options, and when we wanted some thing different, Whaler‘s Village is only a few yards down the beach. We loved the pools and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. You could have lunch by the pool or drinks. Hawaii is expensive but I felt like this resort was worth it."

"Loved the pool, bar, location was good, parking included was nice however not enough handicap parking spots on the first level! The bottom level of the garage is not handicap accessible to the hotel. My particular bed was horrible, but I didn't ask for a change so that's my fault. They would've done something to fix the problem if I would've asked. staff was extremely nice."

"What an amazing stay! From check-in to check-out, we enjoyed every minute. The property is stunning and the staff were all so welcoming and amazing! My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 minors) fell in love with the Hyatt Regency Maui. Mahalo! "

"We had a great stay. Our 2B/2B GV was a perfect fit for our family. Two teen girls need their space and we need ours, so this set up was ideal. The kitchen and washer and dryer were awesome as well. The property is located within walking distance of food trucks, grocery store, and shops. Both of the pools were very big and well maintained. The beach left a little to be desired as there are two properties flanking it which prevent you from strolling down the beach for a walk but otherwise it was okay. It’s an adequate beachfront but not really Kaanapali proper. Just fyi you’re going to pay a $25/day resort fee and $10/day to park your car so that stings a bit when you’re checking out. The hotel has an on site restaurant that was pretty good, and there is a mini mart on property for everything from alcohol and incidentals to pancake mix and sunscreen. You have to pay to use the gym through a third party and an app subscription, so I didn’t bother. You get trash service on the third day but you have to request room cleaning for a fee. We just cleaned up ourselves and requested towels when needed. We enjoyed the sitting area on the balcony and the view of the well maintained resort grounds. To sum it up we really enjoyed the stay. We were there for eight days and usually back in the room at 7:30/8 at night so having the extra room for our family at night was really nice. If you really want to experience Kaanapali beach you may want to look at the properties South of Black Rock."
