"Half the amenities at the hotel were closed during our stay which made the stay far less than enjoyable. Outdoor swimming pools were not accessible. Outdoor adventure golf was not available despite excellent weather. It did not leave with much to do in the hotel. Even the basic spa facilities were not available. Steam room and other facilities were under repairs during our stay and something we were really looking forward to."

"The hotel was suitable for our needs. It is definitely dated but it is clean and was in a location that was convenient to where we wanted to go. We got a triple which was kind of cramped, but the breakfast was good. We also got room service one night and the pizza was better than I expected from a hotel restaurant."

"From check-in to check-out, my experience with the Golden Star was excellent. The staff were very accommodating in the bar, restaurant, room services, front desk, etc. The hotel is well-situated."
