Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms are noisy as you can literally hear conversations, particularly if people are on their balcony. They compete with music from local restaurant which stops before midnight. Bring ear plugs or maybe hotel should supply! However I question it being 4* - no robes to use. Finally found slippers. No tissues, haircomb or hair conditioner. Shower good but small. Breakfast basic - the ingredients seem poor quality. I asked for an omelette but no, not available. Fried sausages, fried & boiled eggs, fried bacon & chips. Heart attack food. Just sliced white bread - no artisan breads. Some pastries baked off from frozen and who eats cooked carrots for breakfast! Dining staff could be friendlier.
There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to the right of the hotel. Location ok ish.

Breakfast was wonderful. So much choice. Beautifully presented. All staff were wonderful and accommodating. Spotlessly clean. This is our second visit. Less than ten minute walk into old and new town. We loved it
