"This is my third stay in Carlo's studio apartment and it was like coming home. The design of this compact place is just right because it was put together by Carlo and his wife, both architects. So, whether the tenant is a man or woman, their needs have been anticipated. A kilim on the floor and artwork on the white walls make the place bright and pleasing to the eye. Coffee,bottled water, jam and croissants are a nice welcome to a weary traveler. A bakery, restaurants and supermarket are nearby...

Terrace is remarkable and the views lovely. Caveats - It's 4 floors up a narrow staircase, so control your packing and smaller...

You can walk into the old town from the apartment so the location is excellent. In the quirky apartment it is quiet, spacious and the bed is comfortable . It’s on the ground floor at the back of the building so rather dark but there is a table in the courtyard. "

"The appartment has all the amenities required. Although we did miss was a microwave oven and a toaster. All other equipment required was available. The two bathrooms were a plus. Elisabetta was always prompt to address and questions. The cleanliness could have some improvement. The downstairs shower walls needed cleaning. We used the spray on a spot and it came clear and clean. My wife was prepared to clean things after use but not to clean them before use. We also had to wash the dishes and...

I would, however, advise to welcome visitors with at least 1 piece of soap, and to change the soap dish ( I nearly cut my hands - it was broken ). The toilette seat needs fixing, and the bathroom as a whole could have been cleaner. If we are permitted to give some advise to the owner: The big, double bed should be in the other bedroom. "We stayed at the lovely apartment and Sandra was wonderful. A very kind neighbor Paulo made our experience even better. Everything was great. It's noisy at night on the corner, but I find that's what you will have anywhere in Palermo. Palermo is a wild, fun vibrant city. Lots of movement but truly beautiful. Our apartment was a great relaxing safe haven to rest and recoup from all the energy of the city. I recommend!! Our host were exceptional."

"We had a lovely family holiday staying as Osvaldo’s apartment in Mondello with sea views in both directions. The apartment had everything we needed and was well equipped. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and the beach which is perfect for children. Osvaldo and his son were very helpful and answered our queries promptly. We would definitely stay here again."
