Room was tiny, but clean and did not smell. Overnight staff was friendly and welcoming. It snowed during the night and they were cleaning the parking lot by 5:30 am which was great since i had to leave at 6am.
I arrived in an ice storm, and I was desperate.
I had made my reservation online, but when I arrived there was only a room available on the second floor. They refused to let me go up because I was a Senior and it was so icy and dangerous. Instead, they took the time to clean and prepare another room on the main floor and made me feel safe and protected. I was so grateful!
On the booking site I stated that i would pay cash at property but they put it on my credit card! Didn't want it on my card. Had to have them refund card and then I paid cash.
Room was clean, staff was friendly. Overall it was a great stay.
Nothing wrong with this place for the money. Staff were cool, everything was easygoing. Hasn't been renovated for a long time but that's why it's cheap. Bedding was minimalist but there is climate control in the room. Maybe bring your own comforter? Will definitely stay here again. Metro across the way was convenient for a quick meal for the microwave.

Disliked: Amenities
It was not bad at all, a bit of noise from the road but not really at night. The rooms were clean (we had 3 rooms) no sign of bed bugs either. Staff was friendly, for the price we got what we needed. It is dated, but again for the price it was great!

Disliked: Amenities
Rooms were very clean, but drastically outdated. Our mattresses were very uncomfortable and the TV was very snowy; not a clear picture.
Staff was very pleasant and congenial.

My Stay
The room was clean very basic and exactly what I was looking for. I only wanted a shower and rest a few hours and it was good for that. I didnt like the pushy owner going over the rules 3 times I understood them the first time
This was genuine small town motel that is an older building but the room interiors have been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved my stay. It is a minimalist motel but you have all the essentials you need to be comfortable. Amazing value for the price.
The owner was very kind and allowed me to check in past 11pm. This motel made me feel right at home. My only complaint was that the pillows were way too hard. I ended up buying 2x $5 pillows from Walmart and I got a much better sleep the second night. The motel is also on a busy road so you should bring earplugs for nighttime in case you're a light sleeper.
