"Really well located hotel right outside the pedestrian zone in Palermo. In just 5 minutes you are in front of Teatro Massimo. The hotel is very secure, the staff is very friendly. Also important to note that the staff is the same everyday, and you’ll see the same ppl greeting you which is nice. The breakfast is everything you need to start a day. Small and fresh selection of cheese and meat, cereal, yogurts and of course their sweets. Rooms are very comfortable, with excellent bedding and mattresses. Very strong Air conditioning, and a great shower/bathroom. I would certainly recommend for couples and would stay again."

"The staff at this hotel are amazing, all of them: receptionists, cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, pool staff and caretakers. They are helpful, efficient and just lovely people. The room was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is plenty on site parking and the beach is few blocks away. There are very good restaurants, ice-cream and supermarket nearby. The beach itself was like a huge swimming pool with clear blue/green water. There is also a transfer from near the hotel to the airport that cost only €6/person. If I return to Sicily, I'll definitely stay at the Conchiglia D'Oro again."

"We stayed here for a week during the Santa Rosalia festival and it was excellent. We were right in the city centre. We asked for a quiet room and found ourselves at the back of the hotel which suited us perfectly as there was zero noise. The cathedral is a 5 .invite walk up the hill as was the palace. The lift takes you to the first floor. You walk along the corridor to another lift which takes you to the rest of the floors. Quirky but loved it. Breakfast is from 7-10, it's the same selection every morning but sets you up for the day. The food in the restaurant is excellent and couldn't fault it. Would I stay here again, definitely. Already thinking about a return visit when it's a little cooler, we had 34° just about every day during our stay. The photos are the views from our room window."

"This is a lovely hotel, just outside palmero. We had 100 plus room hotel to just 4 people! A first for me, once through the gates, quick check and straight out to the pool with fantastic views of the valley and hills around the hotel. Room was good, bed comfy, bathroom could do with a makeover, although shower was excellent. We eat dinner at the hotel, no menu, no prices but excellent local food, drinks old fashioned measures and great wine! Quiet relaxed night…… breakfast was continental, then lunch, again no real menu but local dishes cooked perfectly (hats off to the chef!). All in all a great relaxed staff at a quiet well run hotel"
