"Great location with bit of snorkeling right off the dock. Not Sofitel but also different species seen under dock (maybe even a zebra shark resting). Gorgeous big bed; big bathroom with hot water. Can walk to town for coffee or lunch/grocery store. Next door to Cook’s-polynesian dancing Tuesday pm. AC not needed but nice to remove stuffiness after hot day! Ignore older reviews! Wi-fi did quit one am, but staff worked quickly to remedy!"

"Jean and his family were very hospitable. The food was DELISH. We snorkeled and swam from the private beach. We enjoyed a private cabin with its own bathroom. I would return there for the price and culture. Most of the experience is quaint and family friendly. I enjoyed the porch the best. If you want room service and amenities it is more like staying with family. This was a great stay on a budget and we felt treated with value. Jean was knowledgeable to share snorkeling sites, hikes, dive areas, and more local info. The drinks were good, the food authentic. It wasn't over populated either like the large hotels."

"Property is in an amazing location, right on Cook's Bay and convenient to everywhere on Moorea. It has a dock from which you can kayak in the bay, or just sit and watch fish and some nurse sharks pass by. House itself is comfortable, plenty of space for our family (5 people) and plenty of amenities (TV, pool table, laundry, full kitchen). Only drawback was that the hot tub was not working during our stay."
