"Le Clos de Fougères est un très bel endroit situé dans une jolie vallée, avec une vue superbe.Restauré avec goût, tout est de bonne qualité, et la cuisine délicieuse.Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et aux petits soins, tout est prévu pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. "We just came back from an amazingly relaxing few days in Philippe's little gem. The host is super nice and friendly, very patient with my limited french skills. The retreat is one of a kind. It is as quiet as it gets. The only sound one hears are the birds and the wind in the trees. We had never experienced anything like that and will be back for sure. It was the most relaxing vacation! "We chose Hotel Val Vert for its location between Provence and Paris. We arrived fairly late and were able to have a lovely dinner right next door at a steakhouse. The room was very simple, clean and accommodating for 4 adults. The breakfast was amazing and we were so glad we chose to have it! A full buffet with many lovely and delicious items. The staff was super helpful and spoke English, which was a help for us. We would most definitely stay again should our travels take us to the area."
