"The house is modern and equipped with all of the essentials and much more. Beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful garden and a fabulous sandy beach just a few minutes walk. The location is served by local shops and a bar/restaurant with a basic menu but the food is superbly cooked and is also fairly inexpensive."

"You would think with the language barriers it would be difficult. It was not Nadine and her husband are absolutely amazing people and we look forward to meeting them again. We loved the village and it's proximity to everything we wanted to see. She even arranged for a private tour of a museum for us. Very knowledgeable and the accomodations were more than we expected!!!"

"Easy access to ferry port was met and shown round the house which was very clean and had everything we needed. Use of garden on the sunny days was good. Showers beds and accommodation was to a very good standard. We were a party of 3 couples with push bikes. Would certainly book again"

"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. "The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Hospitality as it should be !
"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast buffet , prepared by a very friendly team,offered a great selection of food and the coffee was good. I only stayed one night , before boarding my delayed ferry to Ireland but could happily have stayed longer to visit Cherbourg and surroundings . So well done and thank you to the Team...I'll definitely be back."
