"The apartment, although a little rustic, suited most of our needs and the location was beautiful. Our host was very a helpful when we discovered there was no freezer to make ice cubes or freeze our ice pack overnight and she provided ice for us daily as well as freezing the ice pack each night. A wonderful host! A lovely relaxing place to wind down after a busy day touring Tuscany. I recommend this apartment."

"The property is very large and beautiful. The pool is awesome and the house is huge, the perfect place for vacation. "We found sanctuary at this lovely farmhouse during the July heat wave--refreshing dip in the pool, relaxing dinner in the courtyard, restful sleep in the air-conditioned home. Got up to watch the sunrise over the vineyards, absolutely stunning scenery, and watched three hot air balloons also taking in the sights. Matteo was very welcoming, and we bridged the language barrier with a little help from Google translate. Wished we could have stayed longer!"

"Carlos greeted us at the property and ensured we knew where everything was in the residence which was well equipped, very clean and next door to a grocery store. Carlos also recommended a great beach called the American Beach nearby and a fabulous Italian restaurant which I lost the receipt for but the food was excellent and incredibly reasonable. Carlos and Silvana are great hosts and deserving of their rating as Superhosts. Would recommend them to anyone staying in the area. "

"This september we visited Empoli. We wanted to stay close to Pisa and Florence, but not in a busy area. This place had exactly what we expected. A perfect view over the winefields with a beautiful sunset. The place could have been more clean. The road to the place is quite bumpy. We were lucky to rent a decent car. "Stayed for one week family of 4, 2 kids ages 9 and 4. We had a great time. Staff (Gulia) was super helpful was waiting for us late for our check in as our flight was delayed. The apt was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped. We had enough detergents, towels everything a family with kids would need. My husband and daughter played tennis everyday. Kids played ping pong and at the playground and we enjoyed the pools so much! We had an excellent dinner at casa masi for my birthday too. Just a fee minutes away by car to coop to buy some groceries. Overall it was an excellent experience"

"We thought they would be serving dinner every night but there was no chef! So no Dinner service. Good A/C. Breakfast buffet was great, bartender made sandwiches and salads at lunch time. Be prepared to drive windy dark roads at night to find restaurants, 10-20 minutes away. Also we were charged additional fees for early checkin and late checkout, I found this to be excessive. We found their local white wine is not very good (buttery, and perfumy)"
