Beuatiful location right in a cove on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room wasn't large, but it was clean and bed was comfortable. Pool/ocean bar was a great after a long day fo travel. Breakfast in the morning was good with options for everyone (gluten free included).

Beautiful hotel and amazing breakfast. Wonderful heated pool, gorgeous direct access to the sea and stunning views. Super well located. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the rooms could do with a little updating, such as newer plugs and smart TVs, and the sound proofing wasn’t amazing. Also, dinner restaurant was very average, but some wonderful places to eat dinner nearby.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. I was revisiting my family origins in Santo Stefano after many years away. The property is clean, well maintained and well situated from the town, as well as Porto Ercole and Orbetello. The front desk staff were always very helpful including Dario the bellman and the fantastic Barman - Riccardo Loffredo! His signiture cocktrails were fantastic. I did not have dinner in the restaurant but lunch by the pool and breakfast were both well executed and delicious. We also purchased some local olive oils to take back to the US. A wonderful property that I would higly recommend.

On previous trips to Italy we never figured out the whole beach thing. The public beaches we went to were frankly disappointing. This time we paid to stay in a beach front hotel and got our own umbrella. The hitch was, this is a water front hotel without a sandy beach. It had water access via a pier and the swimming was actually very nice. The umbrellas were on a nice little lawn. We just didn’t get to rub our toes in the sand. The view was wonderful. The breakfast was great. We sipped fancy cocktails while in our swimsuits. Life was good.

This property was excellent! We got a junior suite , Room 306, which had a small balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean. You get to pick what lawn chairs you will be using and they remain yours for the entire stay! Brilliant. Nice patio bar and area for lunch. Quiet, chill with some families.

Beautiful gem in an incredible area. Monte Argentario is a bit off the beaten path compared to the more popular spots of Italy, but that’s what makes it so special. Not overrun with tourists, just peace and serenity. Great place for a quiet get away. The hotel has an incredible pool area, great rooms and is positioned on a gorgeous cove. Highly recommend

What an incredible villa in the perfect location! Ideally situated near both Porto Santo Stefano and Orbetello, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. My suite was beautiful, with stunning sea views that made the stay even more special. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. Breakfast featured an excellent variety of options, and lunch on the patio was equally delicious, with a lovely setting to enjoy the surroundings. The staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help, making the experience feel effortless from start to finish. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so glad I discovered it. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful place, could use a shuttle service to town, we would go back. The location for chilling by the water was really good, not much around without a car, but it’s a nice destination in itself. Quintessential Italian in all the good ways.

Relaxing

Very nice little hotel overlooking the sea. The room was very tight, but a glass of wine or cappuccino in the morning on the balcony is worth it. Ricardo makes a great cocktail and will offer some good sights to see if you ask. Make sure to connect with him.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Domizia. The staff are incredible! They provided the best service and were so helpful. The hotel is more of a boutique hotel so it wasn’t crowded with people. We loved the pool and private beach area. It was fantastic to have beach chairs to ourselves with an um real everyday steps away from the bar. They have excellent cocktails and delicious food options. The complimentary breakfast was very good (buffet style). We tried their restaurant and you can get just as good food with better portions in the nearby Porto Santo Stefano (8 min drive) for a much better price. Only other comment was that the rooms are quite small but the amazing views they have made it all worthwhile. Absolutely will stay here again!

Hard to get to without a car, we came by train and the buses were difficult to figure out, staff was not able to help with knowledge about bus stops. We came at the end of September and the weather was beautiful (mid 70’s) but we were unable to use the pool or paddle boards because the hotel insisted it was not the season to use them and they didn’t have a lifeguard available, despite the Expedia listing saying these would be available until October. All together the accommodations at the hotel itself were excellent but there wasn’t much to do at the hotel and it was difficult to get to nearby towns which have things to see and do.

Lovely location and great beach/pool area. Some rooms are very tired & old fashioned though I know some have already been refurbished- unfortunately not ours! Our AC unit wasn’t working properly so we had to change rooms for one night until they could fix it. Staff friendly and did their best but not hugely apologetic and no recompense was forthcoming. The Restaurant was too formal and stuffy for us - not much atmosphere so we ate out the remaining nights.
