"Miguel was a perfect host, he had a fire going in the wood stove in our room as it was chilly out. He designed and oversaw the renovations made to his families home, and his attention to detail made our upstairs suite and the entire house very comfortable. "This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Not only the rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the owners made us truly feel at home. We had a lovely dinner in town the night we arrived, and met them at reception for some of their homemade fruit liquor and a lovely chat in front of the fireplace with the whole family. Breakfast was fantastic! They offered a great variety of traditional homemade breads made in an oven used for many generations, artisanal cheeses, jams, biscuits...

"Beautifu and new location. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We originally planned a one night stay and decided to extend it one more night. Location is calm and quite overlooking the Serra da Estrela. The location is a short and beautiful drive to Fundão and Covilhã. Highly recommend this location . You will not be disappointed."
