Our stay at Herdade do Touril was the relaxing escape we needed. We booked the double room apartment that was located across the road from the main building, which was a surprise, but didn't bother us since that allowed us to enjoy a private garden and a BBQ. The apartment also had a fully equipped kitchen which the hotel staff replenished with breakfast itens everyday. We also received fresh bread and pastry every morning. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We stayed here last minute whilst visiting various neolithic sites, the largest of which is very close to the hotel. We subsequently altered our plans and stayed another night to have more time to enjoy the hotel since it exceeded our expectations! The hotel as a country house has only 7 rooms, thus it is never overcrowded. There are 3 pools, the staff are friendly and very considerate of its guests.
