"Carolina met us when we arrived. Checkin was easy. Finding the parking was a little tricky at first but we managed. The apartment was clean and just right for the two of us. We were right in the heart of Funchal and were able to walk to stores and restaurants. "

"This place was very clean and accurately depicted. The area was very central to Funchal. It met our needs and the pool was a nice touch. The check-in process was a little bumpy with a few too many lock boxes regarding a gate that no one seemed to use. The owners and property manager did respond right away and we were able to work it out. You will be walking up steps to access this property."

"Martim is the best owner I have encountered so far, almost immediate response to any queries and gave loads of information about best hikes, restaurants and places to visit on the island. Property is a good size, in a nice area close to the beach and bus stop. It is on a higher floor, so the views from the balconies are magnificent! "Great stay, clean and great location. Very spacious apartment and responsive host Altough be careful it advertises parking available on request and a washer and dryer there is no parking and no dryer…but drying rack is availble. I VERY creaky floors, no one above us but i felt terrible for the people under us everytime i walked, even on tippy toes it was uncontrollable…. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were always excellent. We particularly enjoyed visiting the rooftop (terrace) bar, especially during its "happy hour"! Mixed feelings about our room. Although undoubtedly stylish, it was surprisingly dark and we thoroughly disliked the needlessly complex lighting controls. We would also have preferred a more complete separation of "private" facilities (toilet and shower) from the other living quarters. "

"Loved the location, cleanliness and vibe of the hotel with fantastic pools and all staff were great. Only downside was limited parking and I was only able to get a space at the hotel on 1 of 5 days, all other days I had to search for on street parking around 500m away from the hotel. Not ideal but aware there isn’t much can be done about it due to the central location."
