"This is a lovely property connected to the Hotel Antico Vicenza. Spacious, clean, steps from the Pallazo, great shopping and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are just delightful and really go out of their way to be helpful. "I find it hard to believe that this thoroughly outdated and profoundly depressing property has such a high overall rating on this website. The apartment we were allocated was nothing like the pictures. Without exaggeration everything looked like it was from the 70s. We didn’t have any hot water for the duration of our stay. We reported this to two different staff members who couldn’t have been less interested in this. Rather, our reporting of the issue seemed to be treated as an inconvenience. Poor location in a not particularly nice part of town. Inconvenient access to the old town. Very overpriced for what it is; it’s clearly capitalising on Verona not being equipped for the amount of tourism it attracts. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your time in Verona! "
