A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. "We stayed here for half term week and it was perfect, 2 adults & 2 x 5 yr olds there was plenty of space, we were in the pool everyday and the hosts were lovely, attending to things in a discreet way. We loved the personal touches of homegrown salad & fruit brought to us as well as eggs from the chickens. Great facilities & everything provided including laundry detergent & dishwasher tablets, only thing lacking was a hairdryer. 5* service in a beautiful location - we would 100% return!!"

"When I dreamt of visiting Tuscany, Villa Olivi was what I dreamt of. It was perfect for our friends and us. The views are incredible, and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. As withers have expressed, there is one tight squeeze going up the hill in a car, but otherwise the whole experience was magical."

"Unforgettable stay in a fabulous, historic setting. We were celebrating a special birthday with friends and couldn’t have found a more perfect, relaxed setting in which to enjoy the occasion.The apartments and grounds provide ample space for a large party with a backdrop of the Tuscan countryside and view of the Appian Alps. The hosts are kind and considerate, and the meal we had catered by the staff was lovely. Every day was an adventure walking in nature, by lakes, forests, swimming or hanging out around the pool."

"The home was charming, clean and host was wonderful! The views were amazing! The drive to get there was intense. If you’re uncomfortable with narrow, winding roads, this property is not recommended. We would have loved this property as an authentic Tuscan experience. If you want to immerse yourself in the everyday country culture this is the place! Unfortunately, due to multiple airline delays we were 3 days behind in travel plans so decided it made more sense for us to avoid the 1.5 hour drive return from a Florence day trip so left a day early. This was no fault of host or property, just unfortunate logistics. "

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "
