Jewel Grande was lovely. Really no complaints. Lots of walking but I didn’t mind getting my steps in each day ;-) food was quite good, no complaints there either…. Except maybe TOO MUCH sweets! Lots of delicious dessert and pastry options available all the time. Loved the little coffee shop. The spa was lovely too. I’d stay here again if I returned to Montego Bay. Thank you Jewel Grande for a delightful week.

The property was clean but the staff are so unfriendly, a few waitresses were nice. Very prejudiced with people who were not black. Some restaurants did not like to serve on two persons they only had tables for multiple people. The wave restaurant was not supposed to be attending people with reservations but I went there a couple of times and even though they had tables available, the attending person told me that I did need a reservation, I did complain and finally gave me a table but very rudely. My son and I left the restaurant immediately did not eat there because we saw that they were taking other people before us. Very, very disappointed of them. Will never comeback to Jamaica again. Very Rude and angry people there. Only want money. They do not deserve to spend all this money on this nonsense place. The tours are very expensive and horrible. O Eve you paid for it they will ignore you completely.

The property is beautiful- beach is perfection. We had a butler suite which came with 2 butlers - Lennox and Garçon who were top notch and took such good care of us! All of the staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious but could use some maintenance and updating. I don’t feel the room was very clean and I would not walk around without shoes. As for quiet - it was too quiet- it’s lacking in music - I had hopes if reggae music around every corner and there is really only music in one pool and not all the time. If you are looking for nightlife- this is not the resort- it’s a ghost town by 930 pm. My family still had a great time and if the resort makes some changes we would def come back.

Property was beautiful. The food was good. The staff was exceptional. However, we had some issues with things like the locks on our door not working most of the time. The power kept going out. The internet was spotty and slow.

Beautiful location in Montego Bay, perfect private beach to lay out in the sand or swim. Gorgeous pools with ocean view, and a swim up bar at one of the pools. Restaurants/food spots facing the beach for a perfect breakfast lunch, dinner, or a drink which were strong. No resort food is authentic of the cultures and always curated for tourists, including at this resort, but nevertheless, the food was fresh and tasty. I loved the exotic tropical fruits for breakfast, especially the soursop and starfruit. Great coffee and fresh delicious pastries. Trollies that take you around the resort with the kindest friendliest and professional drivers. A resort that you dont even have to leave to enjoy a vacation. Spacious rooms all oceanfront with spacious balcony and gorgeous view. Very clean hotel, no bugs in site. The staff was excellent at keeping our room cleaned, but for cons, Id say the staff couldve been more proactive in providing clean towels everyday. Also, the resort is outdated, but one can appreciate the antique aesthetic as long as everything fuctions well. The water was leaking out from shower onto the floor when we showered, but we just put a bunch of towels down to step on and didnt make a fuss. Overall a great stay and vacation, Thank you Grand Jewel!

Jewel Grande was a nice place. A little outdated in places, but overall well maintained, landscaped and beautiful. The Staff were generally always friendly. Understanding it's island time, some things too a little longer than I'd prefer (e.g. beach cocktails). But the quality was always great. The beach could use a few more shaded spots to chose from. This isn't a Jewel Grande issue, but the ocean isn't super deep and you have to sit on your knees if you want to submerge the majority of your body. Not a big deal, but worth calling out. Overall it was a great place to stay and we will definitely come back again. My wife felt it was very safe on their campus as well.

d with old broken furniture. See photos. You will wake up with some loud drilling noise just outside or above your room. Food is just ok. Drinks are not good at all. Some staff are fine, but most staff are average in customer dealing. They seem to be still suffering from some sort of inferiority complex when dealing with white customers. Avoid this resort if you aren't white. Stay away if you want a quality vacation. I had a bad experience and will never come back here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

The resort itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly and courteous. Room was also very spacious and clean. Overall enjoyed our stay but a few things left a little to be desired. Only 1 bar was open after 6 pm and limited dining options. Resort was almost entirely dead after 6pm. Very nice during the day but really nothing to do at night. Perhaps it was because it isn’t an adults only resort but more entertainment/things to do would have made for a more enjoyable stay.

Everything in my room was breaking off. I picked the room with a soaking tub. The tub didn’t work. The knobs on the door came off. Other than that the resort is beautiful, but my room was awful very outdated. I was promised that I will be moved to another room And it never happened .
