Montegrappa Holidays

Nice location in the vineyard in the top of the hill. Great view to Lipari Islands. But terrible road to property and bad sound isolation between rooms. Our neighbor family with two child's laugh talking until midnight and then we heard baby crying until 2h. Excellent breakfast with real red orange "spremuta".

Cleaning service was excellent. Parking was also good, but it was off season so there weren’t too many guests. The ambience around the pool was stellar with comfortable canopies beds and places to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was provided by the neighboring restaurant, and the woman who made omelettes could not have been more un-friendly! In fact, “omelette lady” has now become code between my husband and me for a person who is not nice. Our bed was too bouncy, but the room was spacious. We had a flood from the shower into the bedroom, and the staff told us not to worry about it and that it was “normal.” That struck us as strange, but we figured it was an Italian thing.

B&B is in a great location. I traveled alone and walked everywhere to dine and shop I felt safe and enjoyed the area very much. I drove less than 10 miles to the train station so I could go to Palermo. EASY! The B&B is simply furnished but clean and with ample amenities. Staff is nice..

The drinking glasses were dirty most of the time. That was disappointing. The staff were lovely and pleasant. Dinner timings and options were limited. We were signature level and would have expected options for sea view, but those seemed to only be for the main building Food was okay.

The room was clean upon arrival but housekeeping didn’t clean it after my first night and when called that evening, I noticed they took dirty towels off floor and hung them back up. Front desk staff was very helpful and kind. Nice lifeguards and bartenders as well. All inclusive breakfast, lunch dinner and bar service. They said mini fridge was fully stocked and free but only had one coke. Weird. Lovely on beach property but an hour from Palmer and the airport. I recommend a car if being active and going to city. Surely nice properties closer to everything. I saw at least three different pools and direct beach access but beach has a lot of shells.
