A characterful house in the charming hill town of Monteleone d’Orvieto, guests will immediately feel at home in this cosy property. This house sleeps 6 people and makes an idyllic base for friends or family who want to explore one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.

Laid out over 3 floors, the interior of the house has been beautifully decorated to create a relaxing and welcoming environment. On the raised ground floor, the sitting room has one large sofa and a fireplace, as well as a dining table. The spacious kitchen is off the living area and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Mokka coffee maker.

Outside the front door there is a balcony terrace with a table and chairs for dining al fresco and enjoying the views out over vineyards and rolling hills. The fenced garden has flowers and herbs for guests to use.

On the lower ground floor, there is a bedroom and bathroom with a laundry room.

Down the main street is a playground, tennis court and fitness park, as well as cafè. Monteleone d’Orvieto with its cobbled streets and excellent restaurants has much to offer. The city of Perugia is 50 minutes away. It is well worth a visit, as is the town of Assisi (1 hour and 20 minutes) birthplace of St Francis and a site of pilgrimage.

The hilltop city of Orvieto, famous for its white wine and stunning cathedral, is only 35 minutes away. Go on a market day (Thursday and Saturday) to pick up some of the best regional ingredients to use at home.
