This was our third stay on Williams Lake and the second at this lake house. As always Seth was a great host. Love the setting. Can’t beat the views.
We'll be back.
This was "Fall Back" weekend. We were blessed with wonderful weather giving us a chance to enjoy the beauty of late fall in Wisconsin. This retreat on Williams Lake served as the perfect base for the weekend.
We hiked the Ice Age Trail and even did some kayaking on Lake Williams at sunset. It was awesome. Even the birds were active and I saw the crane up close while kayaking.
The kitchen had the best organized "junk drawer" that we have ever seen.
This was just what the doctor ordered for my wife's birthday get-a-way.
House is very, very nice! It is fully furnished with everything you would need/want. The lake is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the lake. Looking forward to returning!!!
Very cute little place, and we loved the little lake and all the extras for it. Boat, life jackets, air mattresses, etc.
It was a little weird that the coaches had duck tape all over them, I'm assuming it was to cover up the holes? The master bedroom had the hardest mattress I've ever slept on in my life, and the mattress protectors on all the beds were like they were wrapped in plastic bags. You moved, and that's all you heard was the plastic. Very uncomfortable, no one slept for 2 days.
It was a very dated little house, vcr, no TV channels to be able to watch the news, very limited cell service. But that may be what some want from a VRBO! Not good with teenagers. 😁. The worst was the smell of the hot water! Terrible!!!! You never felt clean because the water smelled so bad. And do NOT take a shower before bed, because the water heater will also keep you awake for an hour as it reheats!
Very strange that they don't tell you until after you've rented the place that they will be taking your temperature apon arrival and if you have a fever you can't stay there.
I'm not sure if this is a newer VRBO, but we have never had these things at other places we've stayed. I just like to be informed so I can make the best decision for my family while traveling so I felt like others should know too.
This was our second time staying here, and we will be back again. The property is well maintained, beach area cleaned up and overall comfortable accommodations. We have zero complaints and are already planning a stay next year!
Our 3rd year here. Myself and 2 teenage boys that love to fish.
Communication with owner is excellent and everything you need is here. Already looking to book for next summer.
My family had a great experience at the B's Lakehouse! It by far exceeded our expectations of a cabin, only 1 hour from the hustle of Madison. The house was so accommodating, lake crystal clear & had such great nearby adventures. Kids had a blast playing air hockey, fishing off the dock & going out on the lake on the paddleboat...can't forget the late night s'mores by the firepit! Highly recommend ice cream at the downtown Candy Store, fish fry at Rendezvous, drive-thru zoo at Shamba Safari & the best T-bone at Mecan River Outfitters. Thank you Seth & family for a great summer getaway!
Everything you need, and very clean. Owners/management very helpful and easy to work with. Made some nice improvements since we were here last year.
Highly recommend
I have nothing bad to say about this property. It was clean, safe, quiet, all you could want in a vacation getaway.
The beach area, while small, was perfect for sand castles. The actual lake was clean, and it was shallow for quite a ways.
Seth was great to work with. Very responsive, and you can tell that he takes great pride in the property!
Was a nice relaxing weekend. A cozy cabin-style interior. My sister and I enjoyed playing air hockey and sitting on the back porch enjoying the beautiful view. Sitting down by the dock and rowing the boat out at sunset was awesome as well. The place is also only about a half hour or so away from the dells. The response from the owners was quick and they were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean, the owner was friendly and it had everything we needed.
The only critiques we had were to have WiFi (I know they stated they were working on it) and then just to let guests know where to find towels (they were cleaned in a plastic bag in the hallway closet).
I wouldn’t say this was close to Wisconsin Dells though, it would have been a 30-40 minute car ride to get there if we did decide to venture out.
Overall, very nice, secluded and a fun place for a friends weekend.
